I ate there last night on recommendation from y’all on another post. And it definitely did not disappoint!! Had the fisherman’s basket so I would get a taste of a few of their items. Oh! My! Goodness! Scallops cooked to perfection, shrimp cooked to perfection (very, very lightly breaded) and don’t even start regarding the fried oysters, melt in your mouth awesomeness!! Fish and the fries were amazing as well!! Awesome spot!!
Great place to eat. Great portions, price, and casual!!! Kristi was our waitress. This was our 1st visit and she answered all our questions and provided great suggestions. We will definitly be return patrons!!
The worst food I have ever had in Vero Beach tonight! Ordered the sesame encrusted tuna. They brought me tuna tacos. I told them I ordered sesame encrusted tuna and not tuna tacos, so they took the tuna out of of the tacos and told me it was the sesame encrusted tuna and they sprinkled 6 sesame seeds on there. Fishack is a fantastic restaurant with friendly servers, great value, and generous portions. The soups, including the clam and conch, are phenomenal, and the fish fry, whole belly clams, and crab cake are all delicious. The seared tuna and lobster salad are spectacular, while the Mediterranean Mahi and Shrimp and Grits are perfectly cooked. The New England Clam Chowder is very good, with plenty of clams and potatoes. The atmosphere is unique, with a weird vibe from the wall decorations and sports, plus beachy colors and sturdy chairs. There’s a nice outdoor patio and a small backyard dining area. The service is great, with very friendly waitresses and a helpful owner. Parking is easy, and the restaurant reimburses the $5 pay lot fee if you spend over $25. The beers are great, and the desserts look good too. The crab cakes are a standout, and the swordfish is considered the best ever. Visitors enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a full bar and great service, making it a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. It is conveniently located with immediate seating and easy parking, making it a favorite destination worth returning to.
