“This was a lovely place to bring my toddler for a mother son date on a rainy afternoon! Our server Alex was extremely friendly, patient and hospitable. As always, the endless soup, salad and breadsticks meal is a good deal and fun to eat. My son loved his pizza with fries and milk! A fun outing for under $25.
It’s kind’ve weird that they have little computer screens at every table now as that really reduces the “authentic Italian” dining experience, but I’m sure Olive Garden enjoys making extra money on the games. Lots of parking. Easy meet-up spot for families.“

But at Tony and Lisa Damiano’s Counter Culture Beachside, those expectations were not only met—they were exceeded in every possible way. For a special celebration with 22 of our closest neighborhood friends, the Damiano's transformed their beloved restaurant into a culinary haven where each dish felt like a personal invitation to indulge. Appetizers: A Perfect Start: The evening began with an array of appetizers that set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The flatbreads and pizzas were wonderfully crisp, each bite bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The eggplant caponata was the ideal balance of savory and slightly tangy, while the burrata with roasted Campari tomatoes was a creamy, decadent bite that paired perfectly with the sweetness of the tomatoes - a personal favorite with the prosciutto with basil pesto drizzle—it was a simple, yet refined dish that left you craving more. Entrees: A Feast of Flavors: When it came time for the main course, the buffet was a beautiful spread of rich, mouthwatering dishes. The grass-fed filet mignon with a black truffle demi-glace was an absolute standout. Perfectly cooked, the beef melted in your mouth, and the truffle demi-glace added a luxurious depth of flavor that felt indulgent yet balanced. The roasted potato pie was an unexpected delight, golden and crispy on the outside, with a comforting, creamy center that complemented every bite. Another showstopper was the Florida grouper with toasted hazelnut crust, finished with a roasted garlic and Prosecco beurre blanc that was light but full of flavor. The delicate fish was cooked to perfection, with the nuttiness of the hazelnut crust providing a satisfying contrast. For pasta lovers, the rigatoni with shrimp, roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, and feta was a beautiful dish. The shrimp was succulent, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the basil pesto drizzle tied everything together in a fragrant, herbaceous finish. The chicken piccata was also spot on, with the caper butter sauce brightening the richness of the tender chicken, and the lobster ravioli in a basil pesto crema was a decadent treat—silky ravioli filled with lobster, drenched in a creamy, fragrant basil pesto that was simply irresistible. Desserts: Vegan Perfection: As the evening wound down, Chef Lisa took over with a selection of vegan desserts that truly impressed. Each dessert was crafted with care and attention to detail, demonstrating that plant-based options can be just as luxurious and satisfying. The desserts were light yet indulgent, and you could tell that Chef Lisa’s love for both the ingredients and the craft shone through in every bite. “Had the best little work-lunch escape at La Tabla on Royal Palm Pointe today and I can’t stop thinking about it. Such good vibes, and the food was next-level fresh. I had the ahi poke bowl (so good!) and this super refreshing avocado cucumber dill gazpacho that honestly surprised me — light, healthy, and full of flavor. What made it even better was that the owner, Santiago, took our order. He’s from Argentina and was just the kindest, most genuine person — the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. You can really feel the love and care they pour into the place. “What a wonderful dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming team greeted us with warm smiles that instantly made us feel comfortable and appreciated. The hospitality was truly exceptional.
I ordered the Lamb Biryani, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was rich with authentic Indian spices and delicious aromas.
What made the experience even more special was the owner, who personally visited every table, greeting guests and making everyone feel at home. Her kindness and genuine care for customers created a warm family atmosphere that is rare to find.

“I ate there last night on recommendation from y’all on another post. And it definitely did not disappoint!! Had the fisherman’s basket so I would get a taste of a few of their items. Oh! My! Goodness! Scallops cooked to perfection, shrimp cooked to perfection (very, very lightly breaded) and don’t even start regarding the fried oysters, melt in your mouth awesomeness!! Fish and the fries were amazing as well!! Awesome spot!!“

“My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was a perfection . The place is pleasant and clean. I love the view . New England clam chowder tastes wonderful as our appetizer .We had the best and flavorful fried grouper served with fresh salad , steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and with my pecan rice . We also have the delicious brownie sundae and crème brûlée among all other yummy desserts.Our server is very nice , attentive and quick . We will come back for sure .“

“My friend and I had lunch at Waldo’s while in town and were so happy to have Heidi serving us, as she was our server 2 years ago when we were in Vero. She makes dining so fun ( and the table beside us agreed) and she is so knowledgeable. She suggested lunch items that were away from my norm, but she was spot on.“

“We had an excellent breakfast. Reasonably priced for a Disney tourist resort. The key line stuffed Mickey waffles were really good. My wife an I split both. We also had dinner here and the Oscar style Mahi Mahi was excellent. Lots of crab on top. Great hollandaise sauce.“

“My lunch experience today was such a surprising treat! The margarita was the best I’ve had in Vero & only $4.99. The menu is amazing! Fresh salads and seafood, tacos, caprese BLT’s… it was hard to chose! I had the Korean beef salad & swordfish bits that I shared with a friend. Mark, the manager came to our table and was so friendly & informed us of Chives daily specials. Wow! 6 out of 5 stars. The staff really takes pride in what they do and it shows. Can’t wait to go back for a smash burger 🍔 ✌️“

“We went there last night. As usual excellent food and service. Diane was our waitress and fantastic. Everyone, without exception loved their food. Tacos, chicken crema, carne asada, burritos all excellent. The house margherita was massive, and was a two for one deal at around $11 (just over $5 or so for each). As a previous poster noted, we too found the music to be too loud on our previous visits - thankfully the music has now been lowered to "nice atmosphere" level instead of annoying. We will be back.“

“Our favorite taco shop in a Vero Beach! We eat here on every trip!! We love them so much we had Taco Dive cater our wedding rehearsal dinner in 2022! 😋 The Cajun shrimp taco & wet drunken burrito are my husband and I’s favorite menu items!!“
