The waiters serving there were so interesting, something must have made them feel a certain way. The food was great (although I was a tad bit disappointed to find black hairs sticking out of my pho, someone needed to give the waiter a brush or a hairwash). “I have been here a number of times and it's awesome. Give yourself some time to look over the menu as there are so many different topping choices. I tried the chili and cheese this last trip and it was excellent. The buns are incredibly soft and look like kaiser rolls in the shape of a hot dog bun. The shoestring fries were hot and delicious. Dining is all outdoors so you grab your drink and condiments inside, give them your name and they bring your order out shortly thereafter. The bathroom was spotless, but I may have been the first person in it that day. There are no paper towels to dry your hands with,which is annoying. The only other downer is that you are enticed to tip through the point of sale. I personally find that annoying as I would rather leave cash. If you like hot dogs, make the trip here or to their other location. You will be really glad you did!“

“Thai Kitchen was absolutely amazing! I’m gluten-free, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my allergy. The staff was knowledgeable, careful, and genuinely caring.

They even wrote a note on the spring roll container to make sure I didn’t eat it since it contained gluten, and suggested I share it with someone else instead — such a small detail, but it meant so much and made me feel truly safe and looked out for.

“Thai Koji, 2330 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935 4.5 Stars Holy Rainbow Roll, Batman! Yet another Thai/Japanese combo hash house was staring at me from my random name generator. I have to fix this; all I'm getting lately are these places and Tex-Mex joints. This time, I was heading OTB to sample the fares offered at Thai Koji off of N. Wickham Rd. in Melbourne, FL. After being seated, handed a menu and assured my server would be right with me, I took a few pictures of the place and got ready to snap some of the menu. When I opened it, much to my surprise, I had committed a deterrational act. In so doing, I uncovered a leader in the Thai/Japanese cohort. As previously mentioned, I have a relative currently residing in Thailand. They have assured me on numerous occasions that two things you never find in a restaurant there are chopsticks and sushi. This place knew that and had two DISTINCT menus: Japanese and Thai, leaving little room for discussion. Am was our waiter for the meal and other waitstaff should take lessons from this man. He was exceptional in every category in which a server can be ranked. Well done, Good Sir! I asked Am for some Chicken Satay, Pad Kra Pow Stir Fry w/minced pork and a Lobster Roll. Sitting back and taking in the chill vibe, I wasn't too long before Am was seen returning with my feastage. I quickly dug in as the fusillade of fabulous fragrances ambushed my olfactory nerves. The Chicken Satay consisted of huge pieces of breast meat skewered, grilled to perfection and paired with a delicious Thai peanut sauce. The cucumber salad served on the side was fresh, crisp and delightful, consisting of freshly sliced and chopped cucumber, tomatoes and red pepper in a delicious dressing of Thai flavors. Next up was the Pork Pad Kra Pow Stir fry and this was also wonderful. The minced pork was tender, the rice was perfectly steamed and the side spring roll was a treat to my taste buds. The complex flavors in the Pad Kra Pow were executed flawlessly and stimulated my palate as only correctly prepared Thai food can. Moving on to the final item to be tasted on this foray into the sea of Thai/Japanese combo places, I direct your attention to the Lobster Roll. First, please take a peek at the picture of said roll. It is certainly a work of art to the discerning eye. With krab inside, fresh tuna on top and a wonderful spicy sauce drizzled to top it off, it looked far better than it tasted. I am fairly sure I got the last Lobster tail in the freezer as it came off slightly freezer-burned. If it weren't for that tiny, albeit important detail, this would have been a 5-star meal. The Big Boy says, "In a pool with a myriad of choices for Thai/Japanese places to dine, make a point to visit this one."“

Lamb biryani was good and full of lamb, was kind of weird with raisins but was good. Raitha could use some more flavor. Naan was not as fluffy but flavor was good. I'd go back. Plus, they give out good quality to-go containers.“

“Listen, I don’t hand out “legendary” lightly, but Pho Cali absolutely earned it.

I started with the Khai Vi Dac Biet appetizer platter, which showed up looking innocent enough until the first bite. The spring rolls were fresh, bright, and packed with flavor, and the fried egg rolls were so perfectly crispy they practically shattered in the best possible way.

Then the Bun Dac Biet arrived… and that’s when things got serious.

Grilled pork with that smoky char, sausage, meatballs, fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, scallion oil—basically a bowl of organized delicious chaos. Every bite had something different going on. Light, fresh, savory, a little sweet, a little tangy. Whoever engineered that bowl understood the assignment.

Now here’s where things escalated.

They have this house garlic chili sauce that could probably heat a small New York apartment building. I mixed it into the peanut sauce and started dipping the spring rolls in it, and suddenly I understood why people get obsessed with Vietnamese food.

Cold Singha beer, sunlight coming through the windows, and a bowl of noodles that had no business being that good.

Honestly, the only downside was eventually finishing the meal and realizing I couldn’t order the entire menu without embarrassing myself.

If you’re anywhere near Melbourne and like food that actually tastes alive, Pho Cali is absolutely worth the stop.

10/10 would happily destroy another bowl of bún here again.“

So I do notice start paying attention to your Riverside. Location, as it does, need a little love and maintenance. Most assuredly lights, and maybe some extra patio heaters, just f .y.i... A lot of the lights along the upper deck are burnt out or completely gone. Don't forget the stepchild on the river. Although I still love it there, 🥰“

When I added Chinese restaurants to the lists of options for review, I never quite imagined the sheer morass of unpleasant, disagreeable, and horrendous food I would be diving into. Toward that end, when Xin Da emerged as candidate for appraisal, I pondered in silent thought, "uggh...here we go again." A cursory surveyance of the interior of the eatery revealed an atmosphere which is typical of every other Chinese joint I've visited. The first tangible difference of which I took notice is represented in Lim. He is the owner of the restaurant and is accompanied by his son. It's noteworthy that both are of Chinese ethnicity and that both speak English fluently; so well in fact that my respect, my approbation very nearly gave way to zelotopia. Seriously though, he is a great guy. My order consisted of Kung Pao Chicken, Crab Rangoon, and fried dumplings. The food exuded a full-flavored freshness to my taste buds and further presented as an attractive meal, far more pleasing to my eyes and my stomach than anything I have reviewed up to this point. In the chaos of Brevard County Chinese food Xin Da, with a big heart, is the first I can endorse. Big Boy Says, "If you live in the delivery area (old Eau Gallie), I highly recommend Xin Da".“
