“The menu was unique and creative and the food was amazing. One of the entrees was a TV dinner served in a silver plate, (not exactly the rectangular foils ones we grew up with, I'm happy to report), but a round silver plate with little compartments. We had the trout TV dinner which was over risotto and covered with crab meat, and the salmon which came with yams smothered in a delicious sauce. My only complaint was it was so yummy that I ate the whole thing and didn't have any room for dessert. ? Trust me when I say they looked amazing too.PS And in keeping with the diner theme, they served biscuits, like old fashioned buttermilk biscuits. They were yummy but a bit on the salty side.“
“Very attached to this place due to the fine food and outstanding service. It doesn't look like much from the road but the setting is very convivial. A few specials like steaks and brisket. We want for the shrimp and grits which were terrific. I had a delicious snapper. The dessert was excellent.“
“Best restaurant in Vero, hands down! Hot fresh food, amazing service and really good quality! The owner is so nice and the rest of the staff is extremely professional. The garbage fries, chicken tacos, buffalo shrimp, and salad were all so good. But the star of the show are the wings. The finger licking sauce was amazing! This is a must try!!!“
“It was my birthday brunch and everyone from the hostess, to the waitress was exceptionally kind, caring, and nice to interact with and the staff that sang "Happy Birthday" to me were fun, happy and very kind to do that for me. Thank you very much for making my birthday special for me for my first birthday celebration in Vero Beach. I was very impressed with the food and service. I will recommend this Cracker Barrel and will return myself.“
“Traveled from Ft. Myers to this coast visiting a laboratory at FAU, and the lab assistant there highly recommended the fried chicken at this establishment. She couldn't say enough about the chicken and waffles, as well as the soul roll.I didn't get the chicken and waffles, but I did order the fried chicken sandwich, and my wife got the chicken tenders. We also ordered a side of soul rolls and I washed it down with their delicious sweet tea.The soul rolls were really good, and the fried chicken was juicy and so good. It tasted fresh and not old oil, which is too common with fried food in general.Kinfolk was awesome. The service was awesome. My wife, her sister and boyfriend, and myself all really enjoyed our experience here.“
“Kinfolks is my favorite place to go for amazing soul food. The deviled eggs with the fried chicken on top with the drizzle of hot sauce are so damn good! Getting the fried chicken smothered or plain will have you satisfied either way. My least favorite side would be the macaroni and cheese. Also, the desserts are amazing! Try the banana pudding or strawberry crunch cake.“
“I can’t speak for some of the negative reviews I read but I finally got to try their brisket. My fiancé surprised me with some for when I got home from work since we live in PSL. Even after re-heating it in the microwave, I can barely pick it up it’s so tender ? Smoke flavor isn’t over powering also. Definitely will be back.“
