I got hungry for some BBQ and decided to stop my Sonny’s as it is close my house.Got seated at the bar and got served a Shock top. It was on draft so it was good not flat.I order the corn nuggets with sugar flakes and they were too bad, they came in warm and not too hot.Then I got served the beef brisket. I wanted it lean (sliced) but was told they were out so I opted to get the brisket marbled (chopped) my serving came with a baked sweet potato and broccoli (not pictured)....read full review
Food was very tasty, and portions were generous. Our server was terrific and set honest expectations about the food and kitchen. I did not love the atmosphere as it was too bright and a bit generic, like a wooden clad cafeteria.

My absolute favorite place for Bar-b-Que since 1968 when I ate at the first Sonny's in Gainesville, FL. Love ❤️ the Big Deal with sliced pork and mustard sauce. Baked beans are also THE best!!
