Had a really bad experience here. Food is mediocre. The wait time was extremely long once we ordered. Seemed very short staffed and disorganized. Had to drown our food in sauce to give it any flavor. Do not recommend.
Seems like they're cutting back I used to get baby back from them and they just got tiny looks like a piglet that they served up no smoke flavor at all they missed the Mark not real pit
It's okay. Ordered a bunch for a work crew. The wings were pretty damn good. Friendly wait staff at the take out side.

My absolute favorite place for Bar-b-Que since 1968 when I ate at the first Sonny's in Gainesville, FL. Love ❤️ the Big Deal with sliced pork and mustard sauce. Baked beans are also THE best!!

+++++ update++++Got a call from the manager of this location today. Not impressed. Very defensive. Didn't listen to concerns. Offered 2 free dinners. We won't be back. We aren't looking for free food. Looking to be heard. That didn't happen.Stay away.We are a family with special needs kids. We always send in a "scout" to make sure we have a table that works for our group.They said they could put tables together for us. Yay!! Sonny's. In the time we brought the handicapped kids inside they seated another group at the table we reserved.Not good.Kids with autism meltdown.We always make sure places can seat the kids before we bring them in.No Idea how these people seat another group of 8 at our reserved table.After waiting 15 minutes they cleared another table.Almost wish they hadn't.The goodRibs were amazingFresh Cole slawNot so goodSliced pork was dry and tough ... almost like day old. inedibleGarlic bread was reheated. Thin too crispy. Again,Maybe a day oldFries limp, soggy and blahServer was barely there... probably assuming a crappy tip was coming because they screwed us on our table (tipped 20% despite her nasty attitude)We LOVE Sonny's.This store was a huge mess. Won't return.

I got hungry for some BBQ and decided to stop my Sonny’s as it is close my house.Got seated at the bar and got served a Shock top. It was on draft so it was good not flat.I order the corn nuggets with sugar flakes and they were too bad, they came in warm and not too hot.Then I got served the beef brisket. I wanted it lean (sliced) but was told they were out so I opted to get the brisket marbled (chopped) my serving came with a baked sweet potato and broccoli (not pictured). I felt that the chopped brisket was a bit dry for my liking, I prefer it moist.Restaurant was clean and the for the price the food was expensive, but I felt that it fell short on the brisket.If I do return, I’ll make sure to order something else.
