The food is always good, serving delicious lunch/dinner entrees. They also have home made appetizers and desserts. Great selection of craft beers, and wines. Highly recommend!
Hubby and I LOVE this place! From the super friendly staff to the homemade food, everything is amazing! Nancy, the owner, makes everyone that comes through her door feel like family ❤️ She also makes the most incredibly delicious desserts around!
This is a hidden gem! Delicious food, awesome draft list, cozy tucked away vibe. We enjoyed our first visit so much and will be back soon.

The Village Tavern of Sebastian, also known as "Nancy's place," is a friendly restaurant with excellent food and service. Families are welcome, with the owner greeting kids and providing coloring books and crayons. The food is fabulous, and the owner is described as the nicest person. The cleanliness is noted, and while it's not located right on the water, it's a popular spot for regulars. Breakfast is served starting at 7:15 am. The restaurant has a cute vibe, especially as you walk up, and inside, guests are greeted promptly. Customers often receive a bowl of delicious popcorn upon seating, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The staff, particularly Nancy, is praised for their attentive and friendly service. The menu offers a variety of tasty options, and ingredients are fresh, with an emphasis on using local vendors when possible. The portions are generous, and desserts like peanut butter pie are highly recommended. Although some menu items may sell out, visitors find it worth the wait. It’s a nice spot to enjoy a meal, good music on a Sunday afternoon, and a relaxed beach bar vibe. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, providing a kids menu for younger guests. Recent reviews highlight the attractive place with a very “local” feel and inviting curb appeal. Customers are welcomed with a bowl of popcorn and greeted by Nancy, who introduces herself and always remembers their names. The menu has something for everyone, with favorites like the Tavern Cuban and Tavern Chef’s Salad, both praised for their taste and freshness. People also enjoy the homemade White Chocolate Brownie Torte for dessert. The ambiance is more like a neighborhood tavern than a typical bar, and alcohol is not pushed. It is a comfortable place for ladies to have lunch and for families to bring children. Overall, the friendly staff and welcoming environment make it a popular and enjoyable spot.
