What a treat! And a great find! Do you remember the traditional food that your European family made? Or that you ate in the Midwest or in Pennsylvania. Or ate years ago at a traditional diner? This place has tons of great options. Sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel, Cabbage Rolls, Pierogi's, Italian food, Great steaks, homemade cakes, daily soup (tonight was cream of chicken and corn chowder - fantastic), a roll with soup and creamy butter on the table. Food brings back memories and...read full review
Great place with a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service wasn't as attentive as it should have been. I felt like an outsider while dining here, which was disappointing. I've visited several times over the years and have always enjoyed my experience, but tonight felt noticeably different. I hope this was just an off night.
Food and service were great. One major point however. Please clean the discustingly filthy door that can be seen from the dining room.

Sebastian's Roadside Restaurant is a hidden gem that serves up phenomenal dishes at unbeatable prices. The generous portions will leave you feeling satisfied and impressed. The seafood gumbo, beef liver and bacon, and fish sandwich are all standout options, while the warm bread and sides are perfectly paired with each meal. The atmosphere is lively and nostalgic, with decor reminiscent of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, creating a unique experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, with servers and the manager engaging with guests to ensure a great visit. The restaurant features old-fashioned Americana decor, including model planes and trains, making it a fun place for kids too. The seafood shrimp scampi is excellent, with a decent amount of shrimp not drowning in butter sauce, though the tails are still on the shrimp. The chicken fry is highly recommended as well. The food quality is consistently good, with fresh sides like mashed potatoes and snow peas that complement the tender and juicy pork chops. The cozy and clean setting makes it suitable for both a quick lunch or a nice date. Prices range from $12-$16 per person, including a soft drink, offering good value for the quality and quantity of food served. While the bathrooms could use updating, the overall experience makes Sebastian's Roadside Restaurant a memorable spot.
