The coffee selection is great. I got a latte, and it was delicious. They have thousands of great books you can read or buy while having coffee. After our exercise class, a bunch of us ladies go there to have coffee or tea, and biscottis or another goodie and just sit and talk. They have enough tables. It is a great place for friends to gather.

I was in the area and wanting a latte. At the time of afternoon it was, this was the only place in the area other than a DD that was open serving coffee. I had read the reviews on here and had seen a low rating given by one reviewer but decided to go ahead and try it anyways. I should not have even wasted my time. We entered the shop only to be ignored by the employee (who we at first even thought was just another customer). When my husband asked if we could get some help, she was rude to him. I didn’t catch that part or I would’ve left right then. When the lady came to assist me, she acted inconvenienced at having to help, and was just incredibly rude. The coffee was pricey for the amount received. It is good to note that I will pay the price for good coffee/latte but this in no way shape or form was anything that should’ve been considered a latte. My daughter got hot chocolate which wasn’t even warm much less hot.As per another review, the employee (a lady) was just rude, inconsiderate, and only treated the locals she knew with any kind of respect. And never mind looking at the books because the other people in there made it too noisy to enjoy looking. And from what I did see the prices on the books were also too much for used books. I’m sorry but I’m not gonna pay $10 for a used book with a ripped cover. This place has the potential to be a good spot, but as long as it is run by this employee, (and until the coffee improves) you won’t see me in here while visiting this area again.

The latte is so burnt it's undrinkable, it's also very pricy for a small. I would give it a 1 star but book store was cute. The service was whatever.

I really enjoyed my bagel and iced vanilla latte. I love books and the ambience is a book lovers dream come true. It is located in a good spot by a park and river. The customer service was friendly and there was plenty of parking. I paid $10 for a latte and bagel with cream cheese which may be a little on the high side.Kid-friendliness: There were kid books to explore.

This was a cute, local shop that makes a variety of excellent drink and food items. The decor is homey and eclectic. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who clearly loves people and making coffee for them! We saw a sign that said cash was preferred so I paid in cash to avoid the coffee shop needing to lose money. I ordered a honey cinnamon iced latte and it was delicious (even came with coffee ice cubes!)! My friend enjoyed her cold brew and my other friend enjoyed her pumpkin spice latte. Overall, we enjoyed the coffee and stopping in on a Saturday morning as we headed to the beach.

Great cappuccino and baked goods. I had a buckeye brownie and it was so rich and yummy! Lots of books to look at while sipping a cup of Joe.

Just a wonderful little meeting spot. Friendly and warm people. I love to come here and do so often.

Had the potential to be a little slice of heaven. Variety of books, natural lighting, a very good cappuccino. However, the lady behind the counter was not pleasant unless you were a frequent visitor. She greeted all the older women who entered kindly. The shop is laid out wonderfully! 10 women who sat among the tables in the middle of the bookstore to knit, loudly. That area takes up half of the store. I said "excuse me" several times, so that I may view the books. I needed to get close to the books because I'm legally blind. They didn't move and scoffed at me and loudly scooted up their chair with a sigh with each other, when I squeezed by. The same ladies that went right in infront of me before I placed my coffee order & the lady behind the counter said nothing. So...if you're looking for a hidden great cup of coffee...this is the place. If you also like to be treated like a bother, because you aren't a regular, yet, this is also the place. Until customer service is brushed up upon & anyone (despite age or local) can come into the shop and navigate the books to purchase...I'll put my 45 min drive on hold. Just thought I'd stop by after going to the Memorial for Memorial Day. Friendliness/warmness goes a long way for a business.Parking: Good amount of parking
