Had to take a Star Away today. We were shocked to find a 3.8% Surcharge on our Bill when it came. I have never been to a restaurant that put a mandatory 3.8% Surcharge for Food and Liquor on my bill before. We won't be Dining in, again. We love nearby and don't need to pay extra for the view. It should be on the top of the menu so you can make a decision before you order. It seems deceptive. Great views, good food just beware of 3.8% Surcharge on Food and Liquor.

Very poor food. Waitress follow up hit and miss. Catch of day Grouper recommended by fish specialist waitress was a rock and burnt not grilled nice. Side dishes were replaced without plus a prison blob of potatoes plopped on the plate. Shrimp coconut seemed more fresh frozen and greasy. Fast food restaurant trying to pose as a sit down restaurant. Very dissappinting.

First time...went to the bar over the water first. Sat at the bar, no one even greeted us. Waited about 5 min, was not busy, left and wentbup to the newer building. ( not to mention it smelled dirty inside the older place). Did get greeted and waited on very fast at the newer bar. Service was fine, drinks was pretty good, food, tacos were decent. Probably would not go out of my way to go back
The bar counter was dirty and sticky. We had to ask the bartender to wipe it and she didn't even spray it. The oysters were great. The wings wasn't very good.

The food was mediocre at best. We got the tender appetizers to start with our drinks that were way over cooked. The sautéed lobster & crab cake sandwich that didn't have much taste and was mushy. The "Our Salad" with grilled tuna. The salad was way over dressed and the vanilla overpowered everything else and the tuna really didn't have taste either, so basically a flowery vanilla bowl. The service was good and venue was nice, but the food was not and it really didn't make for a great night when you are trying to have dinner.

If you’re looking for a seafood place, you might want to look elsewhere where. Ordered the Lobster and Crabcake sandwich but I couldn’t taste the lobster or the crab. Had to douse it with the sauce which came with it (that was food). My hubby ordered the salad with the tuna (grilled) and it wasn’t seasoned well. It had a vanilla balsamic dressing and crumbled blue cheese; not a good combination. Also had the fried chicken tenders and it wasn’t seasoned over cooked. To be fair, maybe they’re better with burgers as they had a variety on the menu. The ambience was nice and service quick.
