This little gem was a great find! My boyfriend has been to Haiti and I’ve been to Jamaica and this place had a nice blend of both.We had the legume stew with rice and beans; the Ke Bef (oxtail) and the chicken pate. Everything was amazing. Nice blend of spices. This was my first time trying oxtail and I will definitely be eating it again. It was so tender and the sauce was incredible.Jonas, the owner, was so nice and chatted with us during our visit. He makes you feel welcomed and takes good care of his customers! We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: They have fried green plantains and salad.Parking: Free large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: If kids like this kind of food, they will love it!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair.

Just two months ago, the food was more flavorful and rich. Today’s meal, the gravy was watered down and the rice did not have as much flavor as it has been in the past. It’s always a fear of every customer that once some place becomes popular and the business grows, quality suffers. This is becoming visible with Jahiti now. Hopefully they’re able to turn it around or pull back before the quality becomes worse.

Place can use a face-lift. Smells like smoke.... not very inviting. Food is not too bad.

My friend bought me to this establishment and let me tell you, the food was good! I had the haitian fried fish, rice and beans, and fried plantain. I also had of their natural juices (sorry the name escapes me, but it was good). My friend had the griot, diri djon djon and also fried plantain. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and both meat was very well seasoned! The fish was a good size, and I was able to eat part of it for lunch and the rest for dinner. One of the owners (gentlemen), was there and his customer service was awesome. Like I told him, "10/10, would recommend!"

One encounter and the customer service won me over before I even tasted anything. I was led to this place as a recommendation. However, I did not check it out at first because of the distance. I needed some pates for an event at my son's school. I called first to see if they could fill my request and he said he could. I came in and was greeted immediately. I was given a sample of marinade with some pikliz. First time trying this and I told him it reminded of a food I had several times in Guyana. Of course this just had that Haitian flavor that made it great. I placed my order for pick up for Thursday evening although the event was Friday mid morning into the afternoon. He suggested pick up that morning that way it's fresh out the oven! I was only ordering some pate pwason ak poul. In my head I didn't want to make that drive in the morning and also was thinking he would not be open. I agreed and he said just give me a call or a text and I got you. The day before I decided to make communications so that I knew my order was ready. Unfortunately, my 2 text and phone call with a voice message went unanswered. I then called the store and this young man reassured me my order would be filled even though he too didn't see it. He was like if Ja said he got you, he got you. He said he would try to call but it was his birthday. Well, I didn't hear anything until this morning and I immediately smiled. He first text and then later called. I confirmed I'd be there around 945am. I got there and he prepared them and gave me one to eat and I was amazed even more the freshness and goodness. I'm like imagine what the food will actually taste like when I return. We chatted a little bit and I realized this man values his business but more so his customers! This means a lot to me as a customer who appreciates great service. I read some of his reviews and it appears he has a niche for customer service and making you feel at home. Ayiti cherie and merci

First time trying Jahiti! I ordered the jerk chicken plate and a beef patty. While I was waiting for the food they even brought out an appetizer for me to try! Everything was clean and the service was impeccable. The food was the highlight of my visit as everything on the jerk plate from the cabbage to the rice and peas were absolutely divine. The price was moderate for the nice size amount of food that comes with the meal. Give them a try!

Food was well but I felt like I was overcharged.. I got a brown stew chicken with 2 beef patties and it was $24.87.. even with the prices posted above it still just doesn’t add up. It was my first time here and I don’t play about my hard earned money! Tbh probably won’t return if the menu prices don’t add up to the actual charge that’s a red flag to me!
