Before there were 6 shrimps and now they only put 4. It seems that inflation removed 2 from the menu. I will not return to Kiso anymore.

It was a very cute establishment inside, but service and food was horrible. It took over 15 minutes for our order to be taken. My bf didn't get his appetizer until 3/4 through his main course. I ordered sake it never came.

Now on to this knockoff hibachi. It was plain Chinese fried rice, broccoli and mushrooms only for my hibachi veggies which I've never seen for hibachi, and just shrimp. Broccoli and mushrooms were largely slices and only stemmed a tad and Shrimp were nice sized with not a piece of seasoning. To top this all off, these ppl poured cold hibachi sauce out of a bottle onto this bland stemmed food. No not warmed or cooked down, cold raw sauce from the store in a bottle.

Absolute disgrace to the hibachi name and I'm absolutely disappointed. I didn't and couldn't eat it. This was the ending result......(See pic below)

I'm a big asian food guy, Japanese is my favorite cuisine for sure. So I don't say this lightly: This is the worst Japanese food I've ever had. The noodle dish was super bland and essentially just pepper on noodles with boiled chicken. The Tuna and Salmon Sushi I had were super fishy and funky. The Harumaki was dense and greasy. The Miso soup was best part of the food that I ordered it seemed too salty.
The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired.
But the woman at the counter who gave me my food was pleasant and gave me everything I needed.

This was my second attempt eating at this restaurant and I think it'll be my last.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at kiso sushi, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a delightful evening.
The service was great. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and really nice.
The food there is a 10/10, everything made is fresh and clean. Overall, Kiso sushi is a must-visit for sushi lovers. I can't wait to return and explore more of their food.

There was a WASP in my togo order and when I called to ask for my money back I was argued with and hung up on. Horrible customer service and 0 accountability. I said multiple times over the phone there is a BUG in my food and she clearly understood me and asked if I wanted a new order of Crab Rangoon after I explained the bug was DEAD AND DEEP FRIED IN MY FOOD! I asked for a full refund and she argued with me about it and decided to hang up on me. So I went to the restaurant and as soon as I walked in the husband and wife both ran to the counter and asked to see my food before I even said anything. They examined the food and asked again if I wanted a new order which I kindly said no I wanted a full refund and I’m not eating any of the food in my order which was all brought back untouched (besides the Rangoon since that was our appetizer we started to eat before we noticed the wasp). The wife was very upset to refund me and told me it was their supplier that brought the food in like that and not the restaurants fault. Ma’am, I don’t care how a bug got in my food, your establishment sold me food like this and when I asked her why she hung up on me she said “my manager told me to”. That’s not how you handle business or treat a customer. I never once cursed, raised my voice on the phone or at the restaurant, nor did I say anything to a customer or by stander. I didn’t want to leave a review like this but this was HORRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER eat here again. Photos attached of the food and my receipt as well as the call log of when I placed my order over the phone and when I called about the bug. Location, dates, and time match receipt.

I used to really enjoy Kiso and recommended my dad pick up some hibachi for a chill Mother's Day celebration at home. Unfortunately the food was completely dried out and tasted like it had been sitting under lights for hours. It was really disappointing, and nobody wanted to eat it.
