Food and sauce used to be great now it doesn't stand apart.

Their food is good and I use to be a loyal customer but I’ve called too many times about the smoked mullet not being on door dash and Uber Eats and they keep saying they’ll update it and never do.

Edit to reply to the owners’ response: I actually have been calling on and off since the beginning of June. I call about 2 months or so ago and y’all had the mullet, I informed you all that it was not in DoorDash and I was informed that y’all would update it and then told me to check Uber eats, I checked Uber eats and still nothing and I STILL ordered, thinking, ok I’m a loyal customer so they’ll honor their word. And nope! Nothing. If the fish is first come, first served, why not give the people that are ordering online a change to be first? The last time I ordered it was May and it haven’t been on DoorDash since then. But y’all have had it since then but hust not for customers ordering online which is insane to me.

The order counter and window are so high that it makes it very awkward to order.
The guy taking our order was nice and friendly, just hard to talk to with as high as he was.

When I was told the price of a sandwich only, $9.50 to $11.50, I expected the sandwiches to be on a hoagie roll or something close. No, these sandwiches come on a rather small, plain hamburger bun. After we got home and saw the sandwiches, we were pretty shocked at the pricing.
My parents also got 2 sides with their sandwiches, which cost $2.50 to $2.75 each. They ended up not eating the sides because they said they didn't taste very good. They both got baked beans and potato salad.

I got brisket, and they got pulled pork. The meats tasted very good. They said the pork was very tender and cooked well.
The brisket had a nice flavor and was juicy. But the parts that were still in their sliced shape were pretty tough, despite being flanked on all but one side with at least 1/2 inch of fat. And there was a LOT of fat on my sandwich. Fatty brisket is delish, but biting into chunks of fat on my sandwich isn't so delish.

This place is also sitting right next to a very busy intersection. At least while you are sitting outside waiting on your food, you can watch the nutty drivers!..lol
Do not go planning to eat outside. Besides the traffic atmosphere, there was only one picnic table.

While the meats taste pretty good, I do not plan to eat here again because the taste of the food does not make up for the cost.

My last visit to Tampa was a home run with my brothers in the chap world. Simms killed it with the smoked mullet and turkey rice. The owners are great people and the food is off the chain. Thanks so much for doing food so right!

Damn their brisket is off the charts. Also loved the Mac n cheese and garlic corn. 5/5 stars and will get food there again when I’m doing jobs in this area next.

Placed an online order on10/31 at 11:16am for pick up at noon. Arrived a few minutes after noon and was told that they didn’t see my order until 5 mins before my arrival. Told me that they were going to have to cancel my order and said it was cancelled out. I was disappointed but fine with that as things happen but my charge was NOT cancelled. I was still charged $30 for 2 meals never received. Emailed the business the next after the charge went through and have yet to receive a response. Really disappointed as my family loves their food but this experience has left me not wanting to come back

FOOD IS DELICIOUS EVERYTHING WONDERFUL AND THEY HAVE THE MOST TENDEROUS RIBS I HAVE EVER EATEN EVERYTHING I HAVE TRIED AT THIS PLACE IS ON POINT I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYBODY TO TRY THIS PLACE ❤️??❤️

First time going to Sims Smoke BBQ I got the rib dinner and it was pretty good I do have to say the meat was a bit on the burnt side but very tender nothing wrong with that part and I do know it's on a grill so you will get the charred grilled Parts sometimes but other than that the food was amazing it looked all handmade homemade not from a container I got the mac and cheese and the potato salad the potato salad had a Different Twist on it that I'd never taste but was really nice the mac and cheese it was amazing you can tell it was made with real cheese anywho if you haven't went you have to go at least try it once and to the owner I think her name is April kudos to you on starting your business up congratulations

Look here, I smelled the food off the road and did a u-turn to come see wassup. I was NOT disappointed! The Turkey leg was juicy and full of flavor but that mullet! Oh my, just try it for yourself.

Little trailer parked next to a hotel and subway, very good BBQ, has outdoor seating, nice fenced in area. Highly recommend!
