“After church our grandson asked if we could go to Waffle House & we asked his nearly 96 yr young great grandma who agreed so we all 4 went. Sat up at hightop counter where all the action was. I think our waitress was Ambi & cook aka boss was Tim/Jim (sorry).
Great service, food & lots of fun. Everyone was so nice including other customers.
Parking: PLENTY
Kid-friendliness: Waitress Ambi had fun with our 7 yr old grandson & raved about his good manners & sweetness.
When Jim, cook / boss got off he got a hat from shelf & put it on Evan. I told Ambi I wish I'd gotten picture, she called him back & he posed with Evan both with hats on. Evan told us it was best time he's ever had at brunch & wants to go back & we will.

“Okay Ruskin peoples—. No joke! We find a new spot. 828 Foods. They an’t playing. I had Sausage Sammich and Fries (with onions and bell peppers) and my husband had the. Catfish Nuggets with Collard greens and mac&cheese. (He said she knows what she doing) We are very full and very happy. (As we rub our bellies) Thanks Ms Lady. We see you tonight. Hehe!“

“So this little place is epic and the #coffe ☕️ is so dame good. It really tastes like coffee. I got the #avocadotoast ? and got it on sourdough bread ? so it was #vegan. Check it out and you will enjoy it.

She was warm, attentive without being overbearing, and just genuinely pleasant to be around.
