Hungry Crab Juicy Seafood & Bar All You Can Eat

We came here to celebrate our cousin’s birthday and left feeling really disappointed. She ordered the crawfish, and within about 20 minutes she started feeling sick. The restaurant did replace her meal and removed the crawfish boil from the bill, charging us only for the chicken tenders she ordered instead, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that didn’t change the fact that she spent her birthday throwing up afterward.

The rest of our group was fine, and the only person who became sick was the one who ate the crawfish. My own crab boil tasted good, but I was surprised to be charged extra just for additional seasoning.

We had been looking forward to celebrating her birthday with a crab boil, and it was upsetting to see the evening end this way. Considering how expensive the meal was, this experience was not worth it. While I appreciate that the staff tried to make things right at the restaurant, I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable taking the risk of returning.

The flavor on their boils was delicious, but it's hard to care when it is so filthy. Literally everything you see is sticky. From door handles, under the table, napkin holder, everything. Food all under the table. Bathroom dirty. We got there when it opened, so you know they don't clean it the night before. This is not an environment I want to eat in.

I honestly should have known better than coming here while on a beach vacation. We have these chains in Atlanta and they're pretty gross. I figured maybe it'd be better by the ocean. It was not. The seafood honestly taste like a far inland seafood restaurant. I won't eat seafood unless I'm on the coast. The freshness of coastal seafood just can't be beat. Overall, the food is okay, but the atmosphere, music and service is not. They have a jukebox, so we went from walk it out, to wheels on the bus, to some seductive R&B and ended the night with the Macarena. Service was slow, impersonal, and lackluster. If you're in town on a vacation, skip this place and find one of the hundreds of independent restaurants that will absolutely blow this place out of the water.

I’ve been wanting to come to this restaurant ever since I moved to Largo for the last like couple months and I finally had a chance to go and when I got there, it was completely empty and I waited almost 10 minutes for a water and then on top of that, the food was absolutely disgusting rubbery overcooked super super garlic and then it’s a complete rip off and scam. They still make you pay even though you don’t even finish or eat most of the first plate they make you pay $60 for a waste fee even though their food was disgusting. I will never be back or recommend the place absolutely horrible experience. What a letdown.

Hungry Crab has the best seas food boils anywhere in the Hillsborough and Pinellas County. Their Hungry Sauce is the best around. We drive out of our way to stop here. We took family from Missouri this last time. They loved the food and cost.

Recommended dishes: Shrimp Boil, Seafood, Snow Crab, Snow Crab Legs

This was very delicious! Half of our group ended up doing all you can eat and the other half ordered from the menu. Food was delicious, waitress was great and atmosphere was not incredibly loud but not quiet.

If you love seafood, you would not mind this place, but I went with a group of people(work) that LOVE seafood, but I don't. So it smelled like seafood. So it made me very nauseous. They did sell hamburgers but I just ended up not eating. DONT GO IF YOU DONT LIKE THE SMELL OF SEAFOOD! They enjoyed it.

Best seafood place in pinellas!! AYCE crab & shrimp! Will definitely be back.
