I'm not typically a review writer, but Jeanette's deserves those 5 stars! The food is exceptional with perfectly cooked eggs (and prettier than I ever made ?) bacon just right and grits cooked perfectly.Being a one woman show Jeanette is a super woman. My husband and I stopped in within a half hour of closing and ordered. While we were enjoying our meal a customer came in within 5 minutes of closing and was welcomed warmly by Jeanette and was still happy to accommodate the customer even though it was truly time to close. If you want good home cooking in a small town atmosphere Jeanettes is the place to choose! We'll be back!

We stopped here on our last day of vacation and I am glad we did. Jeanette was very kind and made us a delicious home style breakfast. I was incredibly impressed that she runs all operations from start to finish with solely just herself. If you’re looking for something that’s not a fast pace chain this is a perfect little spot. I will be back next time I am in the area.

Wonderful service. Jeanette is so sweet! I love breakfast and she does it right! Very delicious and ready fast. So many options to choose from and if it's not on the menu, but she has the ingredients she'll make it. For me Jeanette's Place is in the perfect location. Cute and quiet place to enjoy the first meal of the day!

We usually like to eat at smaller mom and pop restaurants so when we happened to see a sign saying Jeanette’s Place, we decided to give it a try. The 4 of us entered and were greeted with a quick hello. There were a couple other diners eating. We took our seats and placed our order. The men ordered sausage and gravy over biscuits. My friend and I ordered eggs, bacon and grits with white toast. The food looked good when it was delivered. But, I could tell the eggs were not fresh. They tasted old and I had to wipe the grease off my food. The grits were runny, almost soupy. The biscuits and gravy tasted a bit greasy as well. The bacon and toast were good. The biscuits were good too. Coffee was fine but the OJ was nasty. The waitress kept our cups filled but seemed like she was having an off day. Maybe the cook was too. None of us truly enjoyed our food and left hungry. We ended up stopping somewhere else. Would I recommend Jeanette’s Place? Not really. Will we go back? No, sad to say because it’s a cute little place. Just needs to cut back on so much grease when cooking.
