“Just leaving and am beyond stuffed. Cute diner type vibe with a friendly waitress. I had an omelette which came with potatoes and toast (subbed a biscuit) , and added bacon. My husband had eggs, bacon, potatoes and a biscuit. Food was fresh and hot. Coffee was good. Very homey like a last generation grandma!”

From the moment my family and I walked in, we were greeted by a cheerful, friendly young woman who made us feel right at home. It didn’t feel like your average sandwich shop—it felt like a place where community lives. Think Cheers, but with sandwiches instead of beer. The menu? Loaded. You could easily eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner without repeating a meal. The dining space was clean and inviting, with a mix of tables, half-booths, and a sleek high-top. Throwback tunes were playing, adding to the laid-back, feel-good vibe. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad, which came with a piece of flatbread—and wow. Both were fantastic. I’ve never left a place feeling full from a salad, but Standys changed that. My mom got their garlic meatball sandwich (I wish I remembered the exact name), and she said it was the best she’s ever had. That’s high praise. I’m already planning my next visit—breakfast is calling my name. Big kudos to the owner and staff for creating a space that’s warm, flavorful, and genuinely memorable. So glad I listened to the recommendation. If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll thank yourself later.”

My diet restricts me to dairy & gluten free ice creams which they’re always able to accommodate with multiple options. Really thankful for how kind the staff always is! “I am visiting my sister and brother-in-law in Brooksville, FL and on 1-5-2026 they took me to Cody's Original Roadhouse in Spring Hill, FL. The food was absolutely delicious and was hot upon arrival. I had the chicken, with cheese and sweet potato fries and a salad - it was absolutely divine. We had the fried cheese sticks as well as an appetizer and they were well portioned and delicious. My sister had the french onion soup and the half rack with shrimp and fries which was also yummy. My brother-in-law had the haddock with a baked sweet potato and he loved it. On top of the fact that the food was wonderful, the price was reasonable our server Brian F. was engaging, prompt, new the menu items well. I really want to call out Brian F. as his service was exceptional and service such as this needs to be recognized. Always smiling, communicated well, checked on us often and overall was OVER THE TOP!. I also appreciated the fact that the Manager Amanda checked on us to ensure all was well. A huge thank you to Brian F. salute to the chef and kitchen staff, for the delicious, well presented hot meals, and to Amanda for a very well run dining experience. Happy 2026, we will be back!!!!”

“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. “The food was really good and fresh. The Cuban bread was "real" cuban bread (Casino bakery). We had the grilled chicken w yuca and rice. Although in my opinion, the fried yuca was better than the boiled yuca. The arroz Moro and the cafe con leche were my favs, however everything was flavorful. Our server was great too, good customer service and very attentive to us, even though they were busy.”

“Michael, our waiter, was outstanding. He was personable, patient and helpful with very good suggestions from the entree list as well as recommending a good wine choice. Without a doubt he added to an enjoyable dining experience. The food was full of wonderful flavors and tastes. The garlic mashed potatoes, crab cake and desert were magnificent. However, the quality of the steaks, especially for the price, was disappointing. Plus, my wife and my steak were slightly over cooked and not as tender as would be expected. Defiantly not what you would expect from a highly rated, somewhat pricy steak house. I will say that the last visit was superb in comparison and the steaks had a very good wood smoked flavor, unlike this time. Consistency is important, knowing what you’ll be getting creates customer loyalty. Regardless both my Wife and I will visit this establishment again, requesting Michael as our server and hoping Prime 88 becomes a mainstay in our community for years to come.”

“While visiting this area we decided to try a local breakfast place, are we glad we did!!! Paula R. was our server and she was VERY friendly and helpful even in helping us choose our breakfast and giving us her imput on toppings and condiments. She was very professional! The food was EXCELLENT!!!! I the omelet I nhad smothered in sausage gravy was wonderful as was the pancakes! This was one of the best tasting breakfast and service we have had in a very long time. Thank You, Paula and If we are back in the area, we will be back!!!!!”

“Great little local spot, they dont cook infront of you, but its amazing food, we didnt have any issues, large menu too.. service was fast, friendly , efficent. I had the steak and chicken hibachi I forgot to take a photo before starting to mash it up, was very tatted and cooked how I like it. Soup was good and you do also get a salad. Its modern inside , nice clean. They also have some of the best crab ragoons ! So good.. food was served fast and hott..I Would recommend this place.”

“I just love going to live theater and Grease not only did not disappoint but I do believe it is my favorite show in years (this is my third season attending). The singing and dancing are absolutely incredible! Such energy! The food has always been good but I have noticed a marked improvement in the dishes these past few months…and the desserts are incredibly tasty and fresh! My favorite part of the meal! Every time we visit, I almost feel like I’m coming home. We’ve had the same server for quite a few shows now and he is just so thoughtful and kind,,, I know he recognizes us too as he welcomes us back and takes such good care of us. Suncoast!
