Best New Orleans fare I’ve had in the Tampa area. Highlights: Cajun fried fish, sweet breaded fried corn, Zwolle tamales, well seasoned red beans and rice, boudin po boy, and amazing beignets in a honey butter sauce. These beignets were the style that doesn’t have big air pockets and were perfectly crispy and powdered. Service was friendly and it looks like they might have live music sometimes. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Parking: Part of a small strip of businesses, but no issues parking. The front of the building has handicapped parking.

First time eating here and will definitely go back/order again. We had crawfish etouffee, gumbo and hush puppies. Everything was great and the hush puppies weren't dry. Was even good as leftovers. My only request for change is adding remoulade to the menu, it is a Louisiana staple after all and great to dip hush puppies in.

Honestly, I wanted to rate them lower, but the crab was so good I gave them back a couple stars.

They do not have crab crackers, only plastic forks that literally can't do anything to help you access the crab.

You can lick the crab, but you can not actually eat the crab. We had to pack everything back up and take home just to be able to eat it. But damn it was good once we got in it. Haha

This restaurant was pretty good. Management and staff were extremely friendly and helpful walking me through the menu options.

The food itself was decent, very average. Nothing to rave about but not really anything to complain about.

I ordered a seafood broil with eggs, shrimp, and mussels. I was only given 2 mussels so that was a tad bit disappointing. Flavor was average. Sweet tea was pretty good for sure!

Nice people. Small business. If I’m ever around again, I’ll continue to support them.

P.s. bring back the stuffed shrimp!!! That’s what originally caught my eye when I was searching for local food options.

My girlfriend and I ordered a sea food boil and were impressed. The food was authentic and flavorful. There was a live saxophone player that filled the room with beautiful music.

Had the Peace maker' platter, shit expensive, shrimp & oysters, couldn't finish it all, French fries were clearly different than usual, but awesome, could make a meal of them alone. You have got to try this place!!

Well, we are a bit disappointed ☹️. The food was ok, but I gotta say, the restaurant is very dirty!! Please y'all, take a day and do some serious cleaning! We enjoyed the music, of course, but were put off my food splatter on the glass covering a jersey. The table cover was flat out gross!!

Place went downhill with their food. Boiled spicy shrimp should not come with an oil base. Used to be our favorite not anymore. We even mentioned the issue at The Visit before this visit today.

I am reluctant to give this restaurant a 5 star because it is a hidden gem and, selfishly, I don’t want it to be discovered. We loved our food and will definitely be going back. The food was 5 stars. If the same food was served in a fancy restaurant and was double the price, I believe people would walk out the door and very satisfied and think it was money well spent.
