I came here for a work Christmas party. Overall, I enjoyed the food. However, we waited over two hours just to get our food. I understand that it can be hard when there are group dinners like what they had that night at such a small establishment. however, the manager never came over to talk with us. We did not get any updates on how long our food was going to take, when I sat down it was 30 minutes before I was even given a water, and they also messed my soup up. I was happy with the food that I got, and I would go there again to give it another chance without it being a group event.

I don't know in the past who has reviewed this restaurant, but they must have been as delusional as the chef. I ordered the Chicken Soprano..a jersey favorite..I know people from Jersey and nobody is going to favorite this dish! The food is pedestrian at best! When you boil your sautéed chicken to start a dish...reconsider what your career choice. Don't waste your time or money folks and I'm not even going to start on service and time to get your food!!

I cannot keep this gem of a place to myself. I found this place through Hernando County Food Lovers group and decided my husband and I need to try it out. They did not disappoint. The second you walk in the aroma of deliciously sautéed garlic fills the air and you’re met by a vibrant woman behind the counter. They offer take out as well but to the right through a small doorway you’re brought into a small intimate dining room decorated perfectly for the holidays.Looking through the menu there were so many choices. You can order pasta dishes, chicken, fish, veal and a plethora of other things. They also have a small wine list and draft beers. We stared with the Cabrese and fried calamari. Anyone who cooks calamari knows that it only takes a second for it to be over cooked. Decristofaro’s chefs know what they’re doing, each bite was perfection.Main course my husband ordered the lobster ravioli and I order the pescatore. Both came with soup or salad. I had barely started on my meal when my husband had already finished. I did not try his but it was clear he enjoyed it. My pescatore had mussels, shrimp, scallop, calamari and clams over linguine in a white wine sauce. The pasta was cooked to my liking which isn’t often as I don’t like Al dente but I don’t want it mushy either. They hit the mark with right in the middle. All the fish tasted fresh and nothing was over cooked, which would have made it very tough. Now we are at dessert. Cappuccino and cheesecake. A classic. Creamy and smooth. A perfect ending to a great meal.I give this place 10/10. It was fantastic and the staff was extremely nice. I recommend you all go. And as far as price point went, for all this food it wasn’t breaking the bank. Enjoy!

We had a table of 3. We waited over an hour for our entrees. Food was a disappointment. I ordered the trio. A very small piece of chix parm and a very small piece of eggplant parm. Most of the plate was gnocchi and it was swimming in sauce. We also asked for more bread 3 times. We finally got it 15 minutes after we git the entrees. Our bill without tip was $90+. We used to go to this restaurant when it was Chefs of Napoli and it was so much better. We will not be back.

Saw this place when I was at the restaurant next door and got curious to try. The place is very cozy and the service is great, I tried the Spaghetti and Meat Balls and the taste was very Italian Authentic to try. I would highly reccomend this place because the prices are very reasonable. I found my regular Italian Escape, and hopefully I try more of their entrées next time.

Everything was phenomenal. Our waiter James was polite, had great descriptions of everything we asked, gave fantastic recommendations. Cannot wait to come back!!! Our anniversary dinner was made special with the fruity deep flavorful wine, the juicy cheesey stuffed chicken parmesan, the rich creamy fettuccine alfredo, topped with cheesecake and to die for tiramisu. The only downside is I can't afford to eat here every night! Lol!!!

My eggplant Parm was excellent, spaghetti was over cooked.sauce was a little too thin. Salad and dressing were good. Tries to be fine dining but misses the mark. Olive oil and bread is a nice touch, but when the waiter asks if you want a glass for your beer and the Parmesan cheese is pre ground like in a cheap pizzeria and you are not offered fresh ground pepper, you know it is not fine dining. Sorry my review isn't better, as the food was good.

This place was amazing. Freshly made bread sliced and served with olive oil right when we sat down in the beautiful dining room! James introduced himself to us and proceeded to give us exceptional service. The prices seemed more than fair for how much food you get. The chicken parm came out steaming and full of flavor. The tomato sauce here was so flavorful and delicious and the angel hair and chicken had plenty of sauce. The tiramisu and cannoli were spectacular. The icing on top was the cappuccino at the end. I hope to try the seafood or the veal on my next visit. If the owner is able to add sfogliatelle to the dessert menu, I truly would only eat here.

Don't waste your time going to this there was not one thing Italian in the order that I purchased I ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce I got spaghetti with at least a half a tablespoon of sauce and it was orange looking sauce next came the rice balls who are they right mind puts peppers in rice balls and uses yellow rice ridiculous and third chicken francese I tasted more of the flour then anything else not even hint of lemon which should have been the main ingredient and the lentil soup I can't explain what kind of taste it was but it wasn't normal to me and it was more watery then anything else I wasted $78 but I gave it a try and now I know better this is all my opinion everything got thrown in the garbage never again

I really do want to like this place. The food is actually pretty good. But the service is so bad, that it's literally difficult to even go there. It takes them an hour and a half to make a pizza. And they're not even that busy. We told us it would be 45 minutes, and it ended up being double that. We only ordered a pizza and a calzone. If they could actually get the service under control, it would be a great place to go. But until that happens, sadly I won't be back.
