The salmon katsu roll is so good! I also got the spicy mango roll, and it was delicious as well. Both rolls are offered on the very affordable lunch menu.

I used to come here all the time, I don't know what happened to the service. I was seated for 10 minutes and completely forgotten about. Watched a family of 4 who came in after me get prompt service. It's ok. I will drive to Sakura down the street. Never again.

Best place around!!! Has since seemed to go slightly down hill. But the food still rocks! Not sure what changed but was pretty dead inside.
I bring my family here about once a week. We love the food, the friendly smiles, and the service is great.

This is one of the rare finds in the Spring Hill area that is worth visiting regularly. You can get fresh rolls in all varieties for a decent price. If you are going there for the atmosphere then you may be disappointed as it's middle of the road (when compared to places like Samurai Blue in Carrolwood) but its clean and the staff is always on point.

Excellent sushi and great service. Will definitely be going back.
Food was good as usual. Just grabbed a chicken hibachi and a Phoenix roll with are darn good. Service a lil slower than normal since it was just the owner doing all the running. But no rush all and all was good food.

Owner is hands off. Manager is incompetent and treats customers like trash. He refuses to discipline or fire the manager. She is very pretentious and behaves as if she owns the place.

snot-nosed hostess/cashier rang up wrong price. manager was eating dinner at the bar, refused to get up to talk to me. glared at me while chewing her food. Manager is bad and should be fired.

Have eaten here several times with family - the wait staff has been very friendly and helpful - even offering to start our 'regular' dishes when we were with an impatient baby. I like the Chicken Udon, and despite what other reviewers have said, the soup they serve at the beginning tastes good (may be salty, but I don't necessarily go out for health food...). Prices are good, too, for a restaurant nowadays. So I may not have gotten the same food that I had in Tokyo, but for a US suburban strip mall restaurant, overall not bad.
Amazing food!
