I’ve eaten here three times. I can’t recommend this place for anyone, for any reason. Papa Clyde’s is six minutes away, and always consistent.
The first time, I got it delivered and even with it arriving less than 15 minutes after ordering, it was inedible. The cherry tastes like medicine. I figure that’s on me, next time I’ll stop in.
The second time, I am at the location. I notice the cherry is a different color, so I sample it and it’s delicious. I mix that with mango, it was actually pretty good. I was happy to try it again, even though the service was horrible.
The third and last time, I am at the location. The young lady seemed upset that I walked in because she had to get up from laying down on two chairs watching her phone screen. She doesn’t speak, just stares as if we’re bothering her. I look at the mango and notice it’s basically orange (last time it was natural, mango colored). Learning my previous lesson about inconsistency, I ask her for a sample.
“Yeah, but you can only have one, so make sure it’s the flavor you’re going to pick.”
I’m confused. So I ask, “Does that mean if I don’t like it, I have to leave?” After all, I want two flavors and I have no idea what these batches taste like.
Finally showing signs of life, she irritability replies, “I’m not the owner,” and some other stuff. I tell her not to worry about it.
I wasn’t trying to give her a hard time. I was genuinely confused about what to do. I was treated as if I were a teenager who cannot afford an overpriced cup of flavored ice, so I planned to steal samples instead. I went to Papa Clyde’s around the corner, where even though they allow unlimited samples, I don’t need one because they know how to make ice cream with consistent flavoring.
All the cheaply made, overpriced frozen food you’ve added to your menu is meant to attract teens…But your business can’t survive selling to people without money. You might want to change your business model, I’ve never seen this place full and now you’re going to lose paying customers with this cheap, embarrassing policy.
Lots of flavors, really good Italian ice
Amazing gelati and the best customer service. This has become a favorite stop since moving to Spring Hill. Also, they have Poland Spring bottled water. :)
The best italian ice and they offer sugar free options
Mike the man great ice cream even has a fast Mustang can’t beat either one!
This place is incredible! Every flavor we've had is better than the next. The lemon, green apple, mango, pink lemonade, Arnold Palmer, cry baby...if you haven't tried them, you're truly missing out! The texture n consistency of the icee is soft n heavenly like cotton candy but refreshing and exploding with flavor 😋
We love this place.
Italian ice's are so good and delicious. Highly recommend

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So many flavors — and every one is amazing!
Flava Shack has become a weekly stop for us — we’re totally hooked! There are so many delicious Italian ice flavors to choose from (they even have sangria! 😄), and every one we’ve tried has been amazing. The place is spotless, the quality is top-tier, and it’s clear they put a lot of love into what they do.
On top of that, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ended up chatting and he even gave us a great recommendation for authentic NY-style pizza — which turned out to be spot on!
If you haven’t been to Flava Shack yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll definitely find a new favorite flavor — or five!
Great flavors.
We live close and have stopped in a few times. Stopped in again yesterday before Target, and once again, like always, the service is just subpar and rude. The staff is always hiding in the back, and you have to wait for them to come up front. Once they get there, they act like you're bothering them, a sour look on their faces, no welcome or greeting. Regardless of how many people are in your party, they say "and that's all?" after each order. When you walk in with 3 adults and 3 kids in tow, common sense dictates you're going to have more than one small ice. Maybe it's the new generation who don't feel the need for nicities while in a customer service roll, but we won't be back. I'm not spending time or money supporting a business that treats customers like they're an inconvenience.
