Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about vegan diets. They knew exactly where to point me to on the menu. Portions are good and most things come with a side of white, brown, or fried rice (can be made vegan without egg). The Curry Vegetables were great, though I enjoy my onions cooked a little softer. I had a lot of extra sauce left over and it was great mixed with the fried rice. The General Tso's Tofu is sweet and tangy. The green tea was served at just the right temperature. Overall it was a great experience, especially since I had just come from another restaurant in the area that was supposed to have vegan options but had none. Keep in mind that the entrance is easy to miss at night since there's no turning lane and the driveway dips below street level. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-09

Very pour service been waiting for ober 20 min without even being told how long it will take for food order. Its Christmas I get it however they havent even said hello or acknowledged.. im here when i asked it they could give me a estimate they said wait its busy. Then a regular customer tried to start a argument with me. The people working laughed very unprofessional.
Okay to rebuttal, you never once acknowledged me for fifteen minutes. Not even to say it's being worked on or nothing. So don't sit here and lie.And tell me that, and I never insulted your customers.Your customers insulted me.Had you told me it was gonna be long.I would have canceled the order but I did not get one word of how long it was gonna be other than people walking by with their eyes to the ground. Not even acknowledging me standing there. Trust me, I will never accept an order from your establishment again.Nor will I ever eat there. So don't try to flip this around on me

A hidden gem. The few times that my husband and I visited, the food was spectacular. Their vegetable fried rice is my favorite. This is the best Chinese in Spring Hill if you enjoy authentic Chinese food.

I had not been to Kirin in quite a while. When we pulled in there wasn't any cars in the parking lot at all, which was very unusual. We did go on waited on and seated quickly. Ordered egg rolls as a appetizers, they were brought out within minutes, they looked liked they had been sitting and then reheated over, when tasted very dry, I was very disappointed. Mentioned it to waited he did agreed. I have had their egg rolls many times, they were delicious, these were 🚫. Won't order them again. Lunch special moo goo gai pan was good. Won ton soup was excellent. Fried rice was good. Something has changed at Kiran. Every thing use to be excellent.

So bad I threw it out. Chx Chow Mein was just wilted cabbage and onions, nothing else. I ordered there, instead of my fave because Chinatown Spring Hill was closed Labor Day. Highly recommend Chinatown
