I stopped at La Cucina internazionale yesterday. It was my first time trying this place located at 10551 Spring Hill drive just west of Mariner Blvd. The aromas emanating from this place were phenomenal and had my mouth watering. I was greeted by Ray,the gentleman who owns and does all the cooking here which by the way starts as early as 6:30 in the morning. I had a pressed Cuban lightly toasted and a roast pork dinner with yellow rice and black beans. The order was made up quickly...
Ray's food truck, La Cuccina Internazionale is one of the best family run establishments in Spring Hill. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and the owner is one of the most friendly people I know.

Ray’s food truck, La Cucina Internazional, is an absolute gem! If you haven’t had one of his Cuban sandwiches, stop what you’re doing and go now. Seriously. They’re hands down the best in Tampa — packed with juicy, freshly made roast pork and full of flavor in every bite.
