Absolutely delicious! Everything has its own individual taste yet blends perfectly! Worth going to. Super clean nice place.

Outstanding value for the money. Friendly staff, the Cuban sandwich was amazing! 1st time customers, we'll definitely be back. Thank you.

I'm 1/2 Puerto Rican and my husband is Cuban. We moved here from South Florida where you can find the best of all Caribbean Island's food on every corner. La Lechonera is the real deal. Large portions and authentic recipes. Tastes like my Abuela used to make (with all ingredients coming from her own land). I'm sure it's difficult to make a profit during these times of increased prices for ingredients, so I understand why the owner raised prices and will continue to patronize this business.

The food is delicious and the servings are huge. The entire staff is pleasant and courteous. I think the reviewers stating otherwise might have had a bad day? I would say to try them yourself. I recommend them and I'm a Caucasian, so there isn't a problem other than my bad pronunciation of the names of the food. I get a little giggle from the nice lady who took our order.

Food was outstanding, pernil was very tasty . Remi ded me of my mom's cooking. So great. Only thing is that they need more help. Worth the small wait though. Will definitely be back!

We have been coming here for awhile. I don't know how they do it. The food is still great no matter how short staffed they are. They deserve more credit and more patience from customers. We will keep coming to this place and continue to be patient. Thank you for great food as always!

1st time coming here. Kind of disappointed. Rice was extremely dry, pork was both too salty and no flavor, depending on which bite you took. 3 1/2 hours before closing should have fresh food.

We had dinner here. The man behind the counter was very pleasant. We had the ground beef potato balls and they were very bland - almost like they had no spices and actually tasteless.. The fried steak and onions were also very bland and not very tender. I'm not sure why everything tasted as if there were no spices/flavor added. We had the cheese flan and rice pudding and they were also very bland and seemed to be prepackaged. We did enjoy the tostones and garlic. The restaurant was very cozy and comfortable and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

New to the area and stopped into Le Lechonera to grab a gift certificate for my son's teacher and decided to try the mofongo/trifongo with lechon. All I have to say is AMAZING! My husband is Puerto Rican and I have tried many different restaurants and family/friends lechon but this by far was one of the best. Was NOT salty and the flavor was delicioso! Still have tamales and cake for later - yum! We definitely will be back for lunch and probably a catering order. The staff was super friendly :-)

The food is good but what kind of restaurant closes at 6 on a saturday? WHAT time do they think people eat? Tried calling at 545 no one answered the phone. I never heard of a restaurant that closes AT dinner time on a weekend. I guess they don't like to make money or just lazy and don't want to work. Your issues aren't my issues and if you can't make your business work that's your problem not mine. If you don't like reviews then get out of the restaurant business. I didn't review your personal life so I don't care about your personal issues. And by the way complaining about my review instead of trying to win over an unhappy customer is probably why you are failing. Congrats now you have 1 less customer.

I'm a life long Tampa resident and have enjoyed many good spanish restaurants. This one is BAD. Worst Ropa Vieja and Picadillo I've had. Red beans were seasoned with coffee. Even the Plantanos were poor. Do not eat here!
