Papa Clyde's Two Ice Cream is a delightful hidden gem that's revolutionizing the ice cream scene with its incredibly unique and creative flavors. From the moment you step into this charming parlor, you're transported into a world of frozen innovation that will tantalize your taste buds and challenge your perception of what ice cream can be.

What sets Papa Clyde's apart is their commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional ice cream. Their flavor combinations are nothing short of extraordinary. Imagine savoring a scoop of lavender honey goat cheese, or indulging in a cone of roasted garlic and olive oil ice cream. These aren't just flavors; they're culinary adventures in every bite.

The "Two" in Papa Clyde's Two Ice Cream isn't just a name - it's a concept. Each flavor is a harmonious blend of two distinct tastes that you wouldn't expect to work together, but somehow create magic on your palate. The basil and strawberry combo, for instance, is a refreshing twist that perfectly balances sweet and herbal notes.

But it's not just about unusual flavors. Papa Clyde's also excels in texture. Their ice cream is incredibly smooth and creamy, with a richness that lingers long after the last spoonful. Even their dairy-free options maintain this luxurious mouthfeel, a testament to their expert craftsmanship.

The passion behind Papa Clyde's is evident in every scoop. You can tell that each flavor has been meticulously developed and tested to perfection. The staff's enthusiasm is contagious as they eagerly describe the inspiration behind each flavor and offer samples to curious customers.

The parlor itself is a whimsical space that matches the creativity of its offerings. Vintage ice cream memorabilia adorns the walls, and the aroma of freshly baked waffle cones fills the air. It's the perfect backdrop for an ice cream experience that's anything but ordinary.

What's truly impressive is how Papa Clyde's manages to create flavors that are both innovative and delicious. Even the most skeptical ice cream traditionalists find themselves converted after trying flavors like black sesame and dark chocolate or rosemary and caramel.

In a world of cookie-cutter ice cream chains, Papa Clyde's Two Ice Cream stands out as a beacon of originality and quality. It's more than just an ice cream shop; it's a destination for food lovers and adventure seekers alike. Whether you're a local or just passing through town, a visit to Papa Clyde's is an absolute must. Prepare to have your taste buds awakened and your ice cream expectations forever changed!

Banana splits were great; the young man making them.....not so much. Didn't seem to be terribly happy working on a Sunday. But that's your job, do it with at least a pretense of a smile. We may go back, because the flavor choices were phenomenal, but it'll be a while. And if I see Mr. Attitude in there, I'll probably just leave.

The guys that work there (I think the bigger guy is new?) Are absolutely amazing. Very helpful, charming, and they really are part of the reason I keep coming back. If I'm ever not sure what to get, they usually have great recommendations. Btw, you guys should try the egg cream sometime, it's surprisingly good.

The one star has nothing to do with their ice cream, as it is very good, however, I have been going there for several years and have always purchased both Sundays, as well as quarts when having company. I went there the other day to purchase a few quarts for company, the main flavor everyone loves is black raspberry, however, they didn’t have that flavor in the freezer, but plenty up front, so I grabbed 3 quarts of other flavors, and asked if they can make me a quart of black raspberry. The gentleman behind the counter stated that they no longer do that. No longer do what??? I am purchasing 3 other flavors out of the freezer, and the main one I need isn’t in there, you have a giant bucket and you won’t sell me a quart? For the life of me I couldn’t understand, so I put it all back, and will never return. Made no sense at all.
