This restaurant is the spot for true authentic Jamaican food in Spring Hill, and the surrounding Hernando County. The food is always delicious! There is always a selection that are all family favorites. The staff are friendly and very helpful and you can tell they love what they do. Prices are always fair and the portion sizes are abundant. This is the only place I will order from.

Me and my husband just finished our food (well I attempted to finish mine lol). Very good tasty!!! My husband is Jamaican and applauded the food and service! I’m happy he finally found a place near the house that he can have some comfort food from home. We had the jerk pork and curry goat AMAZING. The portion definitely fits the price, they didn’t skimp on ANYTHING! Restaurant has great decor, really island vibe!

Legitimately good Jamaican food!! Spice levels are great, the rice that came with my Jamaican chicken was tender, and the cabbage on the side was wonderful!

The older African-American lady that works the front counter has a horrible attitude 99.9 percent of the time. As if she hates her job so I’ll take my business elsewhere bad atmosphere

Inconsistent in more ways than one. You don't know when they will open.... they show up when they want. Food tastes different every time and not ever is it good. I've tried this place over 5 times but to no avail it's not getting better. Definitely didn't taste like authentic jamaican food but most folks in this area won't know that.

You guys should update your day and times of operation on Google. I placed an online order today because I saw you were open, then when we went to pick it up, you guys were closed. I was charged $43.60 for food I can’t get 😓 I was looking forward to trying this place because of the good reviews. Please make sure your days and times of operation are updated for those of us who order online.

Chicken was very tasty. Definitely going back. When I was having trouble with my bank card they said it's on us today. So sweet. Luckily my card worked the second try. Good people. Good food.

There are no words to describe just how wonderful this place is! As I was eating my curry goat, it brought tears of joy to my eyes, because it was exactly how my mom used to cook it!🥰😌

Why do they offer an order on the menu and then cancel it because it takes a long time to cook?

Great Jamaican Spot – Flavorful, Friendly, and Worth the Stop!

My wife and I found Reggae’s Jamaican Grill while out shopping. We were originally craving Haitian food, but there weren’t any nearby, so we searched for a Jamaican spot and landed here—and I’m glad we did.

The restaurant has a clean, welcoming setup with a beautiful layout—honestly, if I ever opened a food place, this is exactly the vibe I’d want. There were customers inside, and the woman working the front was very kind, managing everything by herself. She took care of orders one at a time, and even though she was alone, she handled it gracefully.

We ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and asked for oxtail sauce on the side. We took the food home to eat, and let me tell you—it was very good. The chicken was flavorful and had just the right amount of heat for me (I’m not a huge spice lover), while my wife—who enjoys spicy food—thought it was perfect. The cabbage was well-cooked and seasoned just right. The rice and peas were fine for me, but my wife thought they could’ve used a little more flavor. Still, paired with the oxtail sauce and chicken, everything came together nicely.

She also ordered fried dumplings. They were a bit firm—likely made earlier in the day—but the cook was thoughtful enough to offer her an extra one for free. That kind of service goes a long way.

The total came to around $33 for two full plates, which is very reasonable for the area and the portion sizes. We were happy, full, and satisfied when we finished eating.

Would definitely recommend Reggae’s Jamaican Grill if you’re in the area and want something flavorful, authentic, and reasonably priced. I’m American, my wife is Haitian, and we both truly enjoyed it.
