St I finally made it to Standys after hearing about it for ages—and now I’m wondering why I waited so long. From the moment my family and I walked in, we were greeted by a cheerful, friendly young woman who made us feel right at home. It didn’t feel like your average sandwich shop—it felt like a place where community lives. Think Cheers, but with sandwiches instead of beer. The menu? Loaded. You could easily eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner without repeating a meal. The dining space was clean and inviting, with a mix of tables, half-booths, and a sleek high-top. Throwback tunes were playing, adding to the laid-back, feel-good vibe. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad, which came with a piece of flatbread—and wow. Both were fantastic. I’ve never left a place feeling full from a salad, but Standys changed that. My mom got their garlic meatball sandwich (I wish I remembered the exact name), and she said it was the best she’s ever had. That’s high praise. I’m already planning my next visit—breakfast is calling my name. Big kudos to the owner and staff for creating a space that’s warm, flavorful, and genuinely memorable. So glad I listened to the recommendation. If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll thank yourself later.

Not only is the owner beyond kind and good customer service, cares about what you like and gives suggestions. I got the garlic chicken sandwich, sooo yummy !! Homemade flatbread and sauce. My boyfriend got the pesto chicken sandwich and was also so good! $10 for a whole sandwich and chips, can’t beat that. Good spot to try

A very pleasant surprise! Although they ran out of their breakfast sandwiches (understandable at 3:30pm). I ordered their signature pizza. Homemade bread and marinara sauce! It was a thick, focaccia style bread and although not my usual style of preference, the flavor was ALL THERE! I'm very impressed and will be back again. The atmosphere was bare bones but the food is outstanding, highly recommend!

Currently still here. Food is delicious, atmosphere is great. We have the entire store to ourselves. Everything was clean and spotless.

I got the broccoli cheese soup (cup) which was delicious. Highly recommended.

My friend got the cheese flatbread with extra cheese. Let me have a piece and it was also delicious. Crisp yet fluffy crust, great sauce, cheese was good.

Highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a comfortable spot or good food this is it.

Consider stopping here instead of panera. 10/10.

Meatball Flatbread sandwich needs work. No flavor, sauce wasn't any better. Meatballs tasted processed. Flatbread Pizza wasn't too bad...

If you haven’t been to Standy’s you need to stop what you are doing and head on over! This place is delicious! Best bagels in Hernando county hands down! Stan, the owner, he went above and beyond for us while we were there. Customer service was on point. Nicely done, Stan… nicely done.
