It's just not like the good old days. We had to use the kiosk machine to order and I tried to get a Cherry Coke couldn't get that. We had to get our own tray our own drinks and you had to scan your receipt in order to get anything. I never did get my Cherry Coke. Plus I like my cheese on the side so I can dip them instead of a bunch of them getting soggy

I'm not a fan of the new self ordering kiosks but there is always someone there to assist you. This place is always clean and any unoccupied tables . Orders come to the table hot and served with a smile.

I recently dined at a Steak ’n Shake location, and it was a delightful experience. Our visit was primarily motivated by the proximity of this restaurant, and we were warmly welcomed by Benny. His customer service was exceptional, characterized by sincerity and meticulous attention to detail. The food arrived quickly and was well-prepared, with no complaints. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the layout offered a comfortable atmosphere. I only wish we could stay longer to return. Benny truly made our visit memorable with his outstanding service! The food was reasonably priced for three people - we upgraded our food items so it was more than the standard. Even then, it was approx. $35! Great deal.

Wow. They "streamlined" the menu to just uselessness. They no longer have lettuce or tomato for burgers because it's perishable. 🤦♀️ You are cooking fresh food, it should all be perishables. They still have fresh onions so that comment from the clerk was even more annoying and contradictory.

Has always been a good deal with a good shake rather than a coke in their combo. Last time the shakes weren't shakes!! This disgusting looking, foam like, no taste was suppose to be 2 vanilla shakes. Not getting shakes ever again. They're not a cheap upgrade. Very disappointing.

I always like Steak ‘n Shake, but things are going downhill. 😕 I used to love their rootbeer float, but they’re gone. When I was there yesterday to grab a quick lunch through the drive through. I ordered the #1 combo… double cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Cheese Burger was good, I usually get lettuce and tomato, but don’t have tomato anymore. I drove off with my lunch drove down the street, pulled out my lunch and noticed my drink had nothing but ice in it… only got a few sips out of my coke and the fries are in a small plastic cup. 😕 Prices keep going up, and products keeps going down.
If you are going to charge me 30-50% more, at least give me what i used to get.
