Went there for the second time today. Had the beef sandwich the first time. Hot dogs and pizza puff today. Food is excellent and staff were very nice. I dont live too close to there but will make it a point to go there whenever im in Brooksville.
My experience at The Hot Dog Shop was pleasant and overall a nice place to have lunch by yourself or with friends, plenty of tables with umbrellas over them for shade. They had a full chicago and New York style menu with a choice of veinna or sabrett or Nathan's Hot dogs . They also have the chicago beef sandwich which is a plus because most other hot dog stands won't have that. Amazing dogs! Let me just start by saying Eric never disappoints! Dogs are Hott & condiments are evenly distributed thru-out the bun (which is shorter than the dog)!Score... My dog of choice is the Chili cheese dog just finished off 2 of those bad boys for lunch!, but let me tell you what The Chicago dog he has is Out of this world!
