On Veteran’s Day (VD), starting off with breakfast at Denny’s restaurant…. Not a good start, only two servers for the whole restaurant, thus, a waiting line…. Don’t they know it’s VD which only happens once a year…. Maybe they need to start prepping for next year’s VD starting on November 12, 2023…. 🙁🙁🙁

I ordered through Uber Eats. Food was here earlier then promised time. The melt was fantastic I had talking Turkey melt combo and my husband had hit me melt combo. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal will definitely order from again.

It's our go to for breakfast. Comfortable booth seating. Friendly greeting as you walk in. Good service. Tasty food. I always get All American slam with syrup for my sausage and bacon & grape jelly., coffee and oj. Hubby had custom order.. his sausage cheese Omelet, hash browns with ketchup & wheat toast. 4 strawberry jellies, oj, coffee with lots of creamer. Opposites attract but sometimes can be ridiculous but Dennys had no problem making us both happy. lol.

I stumbled upon this restaurant on Postmates. What REALLY caught my eye was their "Treatin' Myself Melt". The description says "Treatin' Myself MeltBecause you deserve it - get cheesecake and fresh strawberries smashed between grilled buttery pound cake slices. Great to share!"I've been wanting this thing for MONTHS! I FINALLY ordered it last night... What a HUGE disappointment!!!#1. The cheesecake was not "smashed" between two pieces of grilled ANYTHING! It was LITERALLY a whole FULL SLICE if cheesecake on a piece of, what tasted like, day old, dry as hell, pound cake, with another day old, dry as hell piece of pound cake on top of it. #2. There were NO strawberries. ZERO. ZIP. ZILCH! There was barely any strawberry syrup. MAYBE just enough to possibly give you a hint of strawberry flavor. But absolutely not a single strawberry to be found in the entire order. #3. Like I said, it was LITERALLY a SLICE OF CHEESECAKE. Definitely NOT "Great to share... #4. Last but not least, there is no way anyone can ever convince me that this was grilled. Reason being... It was COLD! Like right out of the fridge cold... Smh. I was SO looking forward to this. I really expected it to be AMAZING... it was not.... :( The only photos I took were the ones I submitted to Postmates... I can assure you .... What I received looked NOTHING like what they have pictured.

I was seated quickly - there were only a few patrons at the time. It did take a few minutes for the server to arrive though. The meal was typical tasting for this chain but could have been a bit hotter. Portions were also typical. This was a good - but not great stop.
