Wow Bao - (Inside Caffe Connection)

i really wish i checked the reviews before i ordered. got a teriyaki bowl and... it was mostly rice with sauce. the meat is not there. a few onion pieces are visible. it was so strange to me that i was afraid to even eat it. never have i ordered teriyaki chicken and not had teriyaki chicken in my dish.

the potstickers and eggroll i got were nothing i can't get from a frozen food aisle. but they were not bad. i can only assume what they use here are bought premade and then (poorly) reheated.

regardless, what i had was not terrible. did not try the bao and unfortunately, i won't be. this was a huge waste of my money.

not sure what is going on with this place but i hope the management in charge of the food quality or otherwise overall business decisions looks at the reviews and wakes up or gives up on this place altogether.

Waste of money. Decided to try something new and wow, wish we would have read the reviews beforehand. The rice was super sticky, it broke the plastic fork when trying to mix it up. All 3 dishes ordered had a salty and just plain funky taste I can’t even describe. Worst food I’ve had, just plain simply disgusting. Will not order from here ever again.

So I never had BAO before and I wanted to try something new with my wife as well. I really can't understand why it was so bad. The portions of food were decent. The BAO itself were decent the dough was sweet but the filling was barely there and the dumplings needed a dipping sauce like soy or teriyaki. Sadly my wife ordered a the chicken with white rice. The rice had no flavor and mushy and the teriyaki was more onions than chicken. Honestly this was a waste of money. Sorry guys. Please do better.

Frauds!!! The food doesn’t look as advertised in the least bit. It’s a spoonful of dry flavorless chicken and 99% rice. No flavor whatsoever, these people are impersonating real chefs and scamming people out of money. It should be illegal to sell people food this bad

I love the chicken dumplings and chicken potstickers. They are delicious. I've also had the Eggrolls and they are not bad. The mango smoothie is worth the calories.

I have to say, I've had bad f0od. But this is beyond awful. The boa was still doughy. The teriyaki and rice was mainly rice with what looked like chog chow on top. The orange chicken was mainly rice with minced chicken in some kind of sauce on top. Definitely not orange chicken.

I've given them a few tries before coming to write a review. They've gotten my order incorrect 2 out or 3 times. The bao's are not great. They are very dry and feel like they've been sitting out for a while. The paper they put them on top of stick to the bao. I've also gotten a rice bowl that is favorless and doesn't have a cohesive texture when eating. The peanuts they add to it doesn't fit well with the other textures and it makes it feel like the rice is not cooked. There's also really barely any meat in it so don't expect much on the protein. Bao's would be awesome in this area, but unfortunately this will not be a recommendation from me.

I just ordered fried rice and 2 baos. The fried rice was all of 3 bites worth. Not worth $7 the baos are super small as well. I just spent $20 on food that would maybe have filled a toddler. Awful. Don't order from here not to mention my rice was burnt. I'm so mad.

We ordered bao buns and dumplings with door dash. I was originally concerned that there were no dipping sauces but after my first bite I realized they did not need them. The flavor was all there. The buns themselves were fluffy and sweet. The different fillings were delightful and so very well seasoned. We tried the pork, chicken, spicy, and coconut custard. I’m seeing all of these other reviews and can’t believe we’re talking about the same place. Maybe we caught them on a good day. We’ll find out when we order again tomorrow!

Iv went to prison for a long time. I can honestly when i say the food they give us in there is not beaten by the food I got from this restaurant tonight. Didn't think it could get worse than prison
