Shout out to Harley who waited on us a few weeks ago. She was very attentive and went above and beyond . My 89 year old mom was with us and she was so kind as to push mom in closer to the table as we were in the high top chairs that you need help to get closer . Also mom ordered peel and eat shrimp and she peeled them for mom! Wow….. So very kind of her ! The meal was also delish! Thank you Harley!
We always hit up Blue Parrot on our annual trip to St George. This year, we ended up going twice and I decided to try something different both times. the grouper imperial was really good but I think I found my new favorite meal on the island....the Seafood Marguarite is AMAZING! If you like grouper, scallops and shrimp then it's a must! order it exactly as it is on the menu and you won't be disappointed.
The food, drinks, & view!

The Blue Parrot Ocean Front Cafe offers a delightful dining experience with fresh seafood, friendly service, and stunning ocean views. The restaurant has plenty of parking and is wheelchair accessible. While the outdoor seating area may not always provide the best views, the food remains generally good. Standout dishes include the seafood margarita, crab cakes, and Mahi sandwich, which was enjoyed by many customers. Some visitors mentioned that the mahi-mahi sandwich tasted fresh and delicious, served with onion rings. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, with the beachfront view and good vibes. Customers often praise the attentive waitstaff and the tasty seafood options, including the fisherman's platter and hush puppies.
The restaurant is a great spot on the beach, especially during the off-season when it is less crowded, leading to excellent service. The outdoor deck offers a pleasant setting, and the place is dog-friendly, with water provided for pets. While some find the prices moderate to high and feel that seafood can be overcooked or that fries are from a bag, most agree that the overall experience is enjoyable. The smoked tuna dip is highly recommended, and the cheesy grits are also a favorite. Despite occasional concerns about service times, the location, friendly staff, and tasty seafood make the Blue Parrot Ocean Front Cafe a popular choice for those seeking a relaxing meal by the ocean.
