This Island Root location started it all. from the first time we walked into the door, the good vibes washed over us and we felt accepted, relaxed, peaceful, sociable. cosmo has always made us feel good about coming in. the kavatenders and customers are all awesome too, so there's always someone to talk to or play a game with. but no matter what, you feel welcome and calm.. it's such a chill hangout with great drinks. Rose is a sweetheart!!

I’m visiting from out of town and decided to stop by Island Root Kava Bar — what an amazing experience! The place is spotless, cozy, and has such a friendly, relaxing vibe. Island Root has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. The vibe here is relaxed and welcoming, and the crowd is a mix of people from all walks of life. It’s rare to find a place where everyone can just be themselves without judgment, but this place nails it.

A big shoutout to Shawn, one of the bartenders here. He’s genuinely one of the friendliest, most positive people I’ve met. He's always greeting everyone with a high five or a smile...
