Our experience at Avilés as above and beyond. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, and moody (especially when thinking it's in a hotel lobby). There was fabulous entertainment by a singer guitarist at the perfect volume to enjoy and still have conversation. We were celebrating my birthday and Mike was super attentive, made wonderful suggestions and went above and beyond to make our time super special. Dined at Avilés Restaurant, located within the Hilton in St. Augustine’s historic district, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If you’re seeking outstanding service and unforgettable flavors, this is the place. The meal exceeded all expectations—each dish was deliciously crafted. A special shoutout to our server and bartender/mixologist, Michael, who went above and beyond with impeccable service, expertly made drinks, and a warm, welcoming attitude....
Outstanding service (best we've had in a quite q while) and excellent food. All this with live music and perfect ambiance. Given all the great choices in the area, this one is truly a hidden gem.
