The Tenders

We usually love this place — the food and drinks are always great, and that’s why this experience was so disappointing.One of the servers made us feel extremely uncomfortable. He kept giving us nasty looks, appeared to talk behind our backs on purpose, and while cleaning his section, he swept directly on top of my friend’s feet, which felt very disrespectful. The constant ugly looks and attitude made the whole situation awkward and unwelcoming. We’ve never had an experience...

I love Barley Republic, the bartenders are always so pleasant. We tend to always go to the upstairs bar so we can sit outside and it tends to be less crowded. Both bartenders were super friendly and quick! I enjoyed chatting and joking with them as I waited on the drinks. It was a really great time but it always is at Barley!

Always ask your server where they go after work! This place was the perfect suggestion. We are traveling with a puppy and were welcomed on their patio. The atmosphere was very relaxing and made sense as a local haunt without snubbing the weary tourist. Irish coffee at 11:00 pm? Yes and thank you. Thumbs up to Barley Republic.
