We stayed at Market 8 Hotel right next to the restaurant, all in a great location on the west side of the Bridge of Lions. We planned to get takeout from here the first night, and then had reservations to another place the next night. I ordered the wings in mild sauce, and they were addicting. It's been two weeks and I've been craving them since. Crispy, with delicious sauce, and their blue cheese dressing was fantastic. Idk what they add to it, but it was slightly pink. Delicious.
The next night, we didnt feel like getting dressed and going out, so I canceled our reservation, and decided to get Candlelight again. We tried to order online, but there is no way to customize. My husband doesn't eat cheese, so he just wanted a burger with no cheese, but there's no way I found to make that happen. Solution? Call the order in, right? I called in and told the woman who answered that I wanted to place a pickup order, and she asked if I could hold. Sure, I can hold. I held on for a little over 20 minutes. I hung up and tried to call back about 5 times, only getting a busy signal. Only one line?? Idk. So, back to online where we both ordered things we didn't really want. I got the Cobb salad. Large salad, but with small ingredients other than the lettuce. They also put a weird, warm chicken with a melted cheese mix to go on top of the cold salad, packaged separately. It was very strange. Also, for a salad that size, they only give one little container of dressing. So after knowing how their dressing size is, I ordered another 4 dressings for an additional $3 over the price of the salad. If they're selling a large salad, why do I have to pay extra just to get enough dressing to cover it?? I would not order this again. I should have just ordered wings again.
We're going back in September, and I'll stick to the wings, and will bite the bullet and pay for enough dressing, again. But, I won't expect to order over the phone for any of it, especially because it was a Tuesday, which should be an off night. How busy could they have been to forget i was on hold?

Charge $6.50 for a Mich Ultra. Beware.
Local here. I like coming here for pick up wings which are generally good. I tolerate th connected wings fo the taste. But after our last visit we’re done. The cocktail had soda which was flat. The cheesesteak was burnt black inside and the fries had no salt. Just frozen fries straight out the fryer. On top of that the waiter was as cold as could be when we could get his attention. If we’re gonna spend 70$-80$ on dinner and a beer for two I’m not trying to roll the dice. This place needs some serious work in the kitchen.
Good perfectly for game days many TV to.watch

We have lived in the area for 20 years and driven past it 1000s of times but never went until tonight...glad we did. Great wings and the pizza was surprisingly very tasty. Draft beer selection was nice and service was excellent - we will return.

Dang..Chicken sandwich was fully pink and raw and burger was equally raw. I had high hopes for this dive bar (I love dive bars) after seeing decently large crowds coming out the door the night before, but I just ordered take out and it was not something I would recommend. I will say the wings were great which thank god they were because the rest was inedible, but my pregnant wife was very much craving the blackened chicken sandwich and it was absolutely 100% raw it really did look like they rubbed it in seasoning and put it on the bun without cooking! Shocked I then decided I’d better cut my burger in half to take a look before digging in and it was equally 100% raw (I ordered medium rare)
