Castillo Ice Cream and coffee

What a cute and great ice cream shop with lots of options of decadent coffees! Erica was so pleasant and heart warming! I’ve been coming to St. Augustine since i was a little kid and this ice cream shop has been here for about 8 years and today we just found it. Wish we had opened our eyes more to see this place. It’s in front of the fort, and the scenery is beautiful. There is seating inside and outside. The ice cream is delicious! My son got a waffle cone with chocolate ice cream and enjoyed it. My husband and I shared a Smoreo sundae and we were able to customize it with other ice cream flavors/toppings. We will definitely be back!

Such an amazing little shop. My daughter raves about this place so we took the opportunity to stop in when we were visiting St Augustine. Highly recommend and huge kudos to Erica for her friendly demeanor, patience, and cheerful help.

A cozy, hidden gem with delicious ice cream and friendly staff. Big shout out to Erica for being patient and extremely helpful during our first visit. Keep your eyes peeled out for this place.

I had the most wonderful ice cream combo with espresso, individually they are top notch, the combo really woke me up before my long drive home! I love the picket fence walkway up to the door. The owner was down to earth and a huge sweetheart.

10/13/25: Cute little ice cream & coffee shop just a block off from the Main Street (Saint George St). I walked in three minutes before closing to get a hot chocolate and the girl behind the counter was so pleasant. I expected some frustration with me walking in right before close, but nope! I saw they had a peppermint bark latte on the menu, but I don’t drink coffee, so I asked if I could have that as a hot chocolate instead. She whipped it right up. It was tasty and exactly what I was looking for. Great service :)

Stopped here while waiting for the trolley. A nice selection of flavors and waffle cones are always a plus.

Cute lil place with great selection of ice creams and coffees. The staff was welcoming and let the kids try a bunch of ice cream flavors.

Good ice cream and a very good service

I’ve been to this coffee shop twice now, every time I visit St. Augustine, and it’s quickly becoming a must stop for me. Their frappuccino is absolutely amazing, smooth, icy, and perfect for hot Florida days. The vibe is cozy, and it’s the perfect spot to take a break while exploring the city.

Great ice cream, got the root beer floats which were good, and the iced coffee is good. Espresso machine was broken so that was a not so great thing.

An amazing shop! We saw the person behind the counter reading Think and Grow Rich — and instantly knew we were in good company.

The ice cream was rich and full of flavor, and the vibe? Ambitious and welcoming. As Napoleon Hill said, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” At Castillo, that energy is in the air — and the cones.

Excellent stop after the “castle” with 4 kids. Lots of drippy faces as they said “this is SO DELICIOUS MOM”

I sampled from each kid. Not a bad flavor on the menu! Rich and creamy and the perfect treat.

Excellent service and delicious coffee flavor options, different milk selections and ice cream flavors. Highly recommend Ice Coffee with Oat Milk and White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut!

Excellent service and the best iced latte in town. Coconut ice scream was also delicious. Across the street from Castillo San Marcos. Will definitely visit again.
