I never knew this place existed. They really needed a dance lounge in SA. This place hits the mark. Great place to dance and unwind with a craft cocktail. They even have $6 drink specials on Saturday nights. C beer is your thing they have $4 beer specials as well. I tried the house Manhattan and it was pretty good. It's a very nice lounge. They have a few eclectic couches lined against the wall with views of the Matanzas River. My friends and I had a wonder time time here and will return when in the area.

Damiana is my favorite little late night place in St. Augustine. It's a creative space on the 2nd floor, sometimes thumping with music, sometimes thrumming with conversation, with an intriguing look and vibe. Damiana is good for a break from the writing I come down from Savannah to do here in Florida every so often. It's fun, the staff are vibrant and curious about whoever stops in, and they do their best to put a smile into everybody.

Waited about 20 minutes for beers that they tried to overcharge me for. And they finally hand me cans. Who does that? Bar was almost empty, nobody on the dance floor and the bartenders acted like we were invisible. One of the worst places I've ever been.

Really more of a 3.5 stars. This was our second time coming here. The first time it was quiet with good music and a chill vibe where we could talk and relax. This time it was like a club, which is a fun twist, but the DJ was playing music that just seemed all wrong for this type of place. It was just a bad mix of trap edm and rap and this place seems more suited for some deep house or something. The room has got live plants lining the walls and coming from the roof and fixed up with Edison bulbs. It's a very beautiful room. But it just felt a little forced for the type of place it was. The service tonight was very slow. There was one bartender for a place that was starting to get a little crowded and he really took his time. He would deliver water to girls and leave everyone at the bar to sit and wait. The drinks were good once they were finally made, but they should probably increase they're staff if they want a club style scene.
