Family run and operated, Falafel Queen is a long time favorite of mine. It's nothing fancy, just excellent, affordable food prepared by friendly, caring people.

The food is super fresh and tasty. It is a family owned restaurant with a lovely family taking care of the folks that come in. We had great time and almost instantly felt like we were part of the family. Our food was made from scratch on the spot. The clientele seems to be a mix of regulars and new people first discovering the restaurant. The son is a very sweet guy and we really appreciated chatting with him and his parents.

I’ve been coming to Falafel Queen for years, and it’s always been one of my favorite places in St. Augustine. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and comforting—whether I’m grabbing my usual falafel wrap or trying something new, it never disappoints.

The owner is truly the heart of this place. She’s warm, welcoming, and treats every guest like family. You can feel the care that goes into every dish, and it’s that kind of genuine hospitality that keeps me coming back.

It’s rare to find a place that stays this good for so long. Falafel Queen is an absolute gem—if you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Wonderful Lebanese/middle eastern food! The food was so fresh and rich in flavor. Definitely will be coming back here. Staff was timely and friendly as well.

Welcoming family! Made us feel at home, food came quickly. Prices are very fair. Food was fresh, herbaceous and made with care. Loved the vibe! Good quick place to get authentic food.

The worst beef kebab I’ve ever had.
Very little meat, a tiny pita, and they forgot to include the tahini. It was dry and skimpy.
The service needs immediate improvement — while I was there, another customer complained that the meat was cold, and the staff reacted with visible irritation and discussed it at length with other customers. That kind of behavior is unacceptable.
My kebab was also cold, likely because there was so little meat.

At first, I wanted to give just 1 star, but the truth is, this city doesn’t have any other place where you can find real Lebanese food.
I truly hope that next time, we’ll be able to see Lebanese generosity and the delicious cuisine it’s known for. Best of luck.

This little Middle Eastern gem is a family owned place. The food is authentic and delicious. We were a party of 12 which filled up this such little establishment. Christopher, our server, did really well. Thank you Ava & Bob for being so friendly & accommodating. We will come see you next year during our annual vacation.

They have the best falafel I’ve ever eaten! The good is fresh and made from I order. The ladies who run the restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!
