I’ve waited to review this food truck until I’ve eaten there more than a few times, and my verdict is in, and it’s outstanding, consistent and just plain what are you wanting for? It’s your grandma’s, moms , you’re best food you can get, the chicken is cooked to order so if you know what you want preorder, the regular sides and cornbread are off the chain and they always have a seasonal vegetable and salad. If you don’t have time to make your somewhat favorite mother in-law is coming over and you wanted to impress you won’t go wrong here!!

Disappointed. Was really excited about trying this place wanted some juicy crispy chicken with a little flavor. Not impressed. Chicken not that crunchy, or tender. Barely any coating to chicken. Better off buying Publix fried chicken. Expensive.

We used Fried Chicken Kitchen for my son's rehearsal dinner at the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum. We were coming from Atlanta to St. Augustine for the wedding at the White Room. Spencer was wonderful in the process of booking the event. Delivery was on time and the food was hot and yummy. Everybody LOVED the food. We had leftovers for the wedding day- so the bridal party was able to enjoy round two of yumminess. It was a perfect experience all the way around and I would highly recommend Fried Chicken Kitchen!!!!

They make your food fresh to order which is refreshing. The chicken was absolutely delicious. It had the lightest crust with a juicy interior with a lot of flavor. They have a delicious Datil sweet and spicy sauce and delicious home made ranch. The cornbread was melt in your mouth delicious. I'd come back again.

I had heard their chicken was excellent, so I skipped KFC and tried the Fried Chicken Kitchen. It was outstanding. The fried chicken thighs were large, crispy and juicy. Cooked to perfection. I also had the corn bread and the potato salad which were both wonderful. The potato salad was just like my mom used to make so I'm looking forward to my next visit. I ordered online so my order was ready when I arrived. I highly recommend the Fried Chicken Kitchen.

They did the catering for my daughter's wedding... absolutely amazing food and very friendly staff... would definitely recommend for any event. I wish I lived locally so we could have their food more often!

I ordered online and my food was ready when they said it would be. The thighs were large, crispy and cooked to perfection. The generous portion of corn bread was delicious, and the potato salad was just like my mom made which was perfect. Nothing was over seasoned or greasy. Much better than Publix, Winn Dixie and KFC. They were very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to my next chicken dinner with them.

Not impressed; we were anticipating this place since is not open every day we've been a couple of times when it was closed... the breading is very good but the chicken inside has no taste at all. KFC is much better. The datll pepper sauce is excellent though...

Well this is going to be a long and detailed review on of this foodtruck/restaurant. I am sure you can see the pictures of the other reviews, so I will be enticing your palate through words. I have been to this truck too many times that I can still remember the taste of their food. I always order the same meal but I change the sides only due to availability. First, I always order the Double-Breast Meal combo! EVERYTIME. Period. No reason for me, but your eyes may see something different. That's you. Now back to me. The Double-breasted chicken is so A-M-A-Z-I-N-G that I feel they could raise the price and I would not blame them for doing so. That chicken is so mouth-watering that I haven't eaten FCK in two weeks that I am literally shaking due to withdrawals while writing this review. I am sorry I didn't write one the first time I ate at this place. Wait...not I ain't. I dont want you people to be crowding this place everytime I come down here! I seriously think they brine those chciken breast for years. Thats how juicy those breasts are. Breast...juicy! YES! It is so moist I kill the breast before its gets cold. They are piping hot when I get them! If your dont order ahead, its a 30m wait. Just FYI. Thats for the double-breast. They take awhile. They have dipping sauces for those breast also. Honey Mustard is my favorite. You tell me a better place that makes fried chicken breast and I will call you a liar. Sorry, not sorry. Now to the sides. They have a different variety of sides...all are ridiculously delicious. Collared Greens, Mac N Cheese, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Apple Sauce. Collared Greens are my favorite since I tried it at this place for my first time. I still dont know what collared greens are but these people make it right. Mac N Cheese is so good that I am Lactose Intolerant and I am willing to suffer the consequences just to enjoy this mac n cheese! SAD...I know, but I don't need to hear you say it! I dont know what they put in it but its just different from anyplace I have tried mac n cheese. Cole Slaw is seasoned to perfection with a generous amount of robustness that KFC Slaw is not longer on my tastebuds. I forgot that flavor. Potatoe Salad has the flavor that compliments the chicken and anyother side you ordered. Corn bread always comes with the meal, and its not your mother's jiffy or Red Lobster's cornbread. Now RL cornbread is the only thing that RL has going for them. FCK Corn Bread is so moist and delicious that I dont mind being full after eating the cornbread alone. That thing is filling. DO NOT EAT FIRST. Not recommended. Onto the dessert menu. I have only tried 3 items on this dessert menu and I will leave my reviews of each. Key Lime Pie. SOOOOO GOOD! Can never eat just one, but must. This meal isnt cheap, but worth every penny. Trip down to St. AUGUSTINE is worth it. Banana Pudding. SOOOOO GOOD TOO! Bigger container that the Key Lime Pie plate so definitely worth it too. Key Lime Pie is like a mini pie with whipped cream on the side. Walnut pie. I am sorry but this is the only item I will not get again. It was like a walnut pie. Not a walnut fan. Should add pumpkin pie or something more flavorful. Did not enjoy that pie at all. Still keeping my 5 star review. EVERYTHING ELSE IS AMAZING.
We gave this place a try today and man am I glad we did! Our youngest LOVED the legs (that's all he will eat!), our middle son loved the tenders, and our oldest son loved the family meal with his dad. Great customer service and amazing chicken!! Can't wait to get more :)
