Food flavor was definitely lacking. Have been here before and was good but the quality has gone done.

Maybe I'm out of touch, but $20+ for a chimichanga, a scoop of yellow rice and a thimble of refried beans is too much.
The staff is wonderful and friendly, I'll give them that. The food is, well it's just ok.

This place serves overpriced Mexican food. There is not much ingredients added to their meals. We ordered nachos and it didn't have sour cream or guacamole on it. We added it for 6 bucks so our nachos ended up being 26 dollars.

We decided to try a Mexican restaurant this weekend. This brought us to La Cocina, a colorful place right on US1. We found ample free parking in the lot, and I liked the eclectic building.
Inside, we were quickly seated. We were promptly served chips and salsa, which were crispy and delicious.
My girlfriend decided to eat light because she enjoyed too many chips. She ordered the yellow rice, and loved it. I ordered the steak tacos. The tacos came very fresh and stocked with cheese and steak. We decided to skip the desert because we were filled. The bill was reasonable, and we both thought we would visit here again when we were in the Mexican food mood.

Wow what can I say what a gem we stumbled upon.This place had a great atmosphere like being in a Mexican living room so cute.We were seated right away that is with 7 of us .Basically they gave us our own room with some tables it was great!!They really had great service like I was family.The food was absolutely amazing.It was definitely fresh cooked and very natural.The price was great .Almost forgot we had dessert it was the best we ever had.We will be back again .So we had the fajitas,quesadillas,tacos,fried ice cream, and more

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great..we were a group of 4 and everyone’s portion of food was a lot and at great prices.. I highly recommend La Cocina Mexicans Restaurant to everyone that is looking for delicious fresh food and a great atmosphere and friendly service at great prices.. A must go!!

A few years ago this restaurant was #1 on our list of enjoyable and quality fare of Mexican food. The last couple of visits confirmed that no longer will we go to this restaurant. Firstly, they charge to use a credit card. Secondly, food is not as it was, i.e. lentil soup is watery, the dessert my cousin ordered which was described as carrot cake was a dried out muffin and she wasn't enjoying it and the staff would not offer a replacement, and, thirdly, serving 2 bottled beers for hubby and I without a glass and had to ask for one! The main meals were okay.

My wife took visiting family here for lunch today at noon. The family was not happy with the food, and my wife said it was just ok. Also mentioned was that the service was slow. I haven't been there for 5 years +, because that's exactly how it was back then. When we go out in T or C, usually to Tony's, Big Foot, Del Taco, Casa Taco, or Johnny B's, the food is at the minimum Good, often Excellent, particularly Tony's. The service is Good. That's what you go out for.

Beautiful place and decent food however this place is WAY WAY WAY to expensive. We used to eat here but their prices have gone up over 100%. Drastically overpriced for what you get.
