La Herencia has been a long time family favorite when we are in the area. Stopped by yesterday on our way down from Jacksonville and was so sad to see they have closed down. Hoping they pop up elsewhere. Man was I craving their Guajiro plate!
This was a cozy place along Aviles St. The food was good, we enjoyed the out door seating as well. The sandwiches we ordered were better than what we had from 2 places on St. George Street. We would not say it was the best Cuban food, but it was better than the ones we had in the area.
Fabulous breakfast place! Live in NC and been back here to eat three times in 60 days! Love the breakfast sandwich...the Non cuban one. The Cuban one is a lot of food! Staff is super friendly!
