I love the food and service! The workers there will recognize you and be friendly, inquiring about your lives. The food was authentic and traditional. However, I was Deaf and had a service dog then someone approached us at our seats to tell us to move because his son was allergic. That was very rude when that family was not even sitting at our table and I felt very uncomfortable after that encounter. My dog has a right to be here with me since he was trained to serve me anywhere.

My family LOVES Mikato’s. I am born and raised in St. Augustine, and Mikato’s was a staple growing up. I now take my husband and children , just the way my parents did my siblings and myself.Kid-friendliness: The cook’s engagement with the children is amazing!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Mom recently broke her femur, and is wheelchair bound. She was easily pushed to the table and sitting in her wheelchair right next to us.

My family and I ate here on vacation. The portions are out of control. We are from South Florida and are use to going to Benihana so that has been our standard. It wasn’t as much of “a show” but was a lot of fun for the kids. It was not as fancy as Benihana but that was nice because we were on vacation mode. All in all we had a great time!

We went here for my boyfriends daughters 18th birthday. The chef we had was decent, and food was ok. I love the atmosphere here and always love the shows. I wished our chef had a lil better of personality but it was average all in all. Would definitely go back.

Good food but very poor business practice.This place applied a 20% Gratuity without my permission with no option of choice, then, asked for another gratuity on top on a final check. Toxic tipping culture.They also charge $15 fee if you share your meal with another, this is crazy!
