I’d like to begin by clarifying this review/critique. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 23/years in the NY/LI region. I’ve experienced just about every thing imaginable in this industry. This review is based on two criteria…organization/management and food/service. Every restaurant I’ve worked in is under duress from the moment the doors are unlocked. On the night we came it was Friday Valentines Day( other than Mother’s Day)one of the busiest in the business....

I will caveat this review by acknowledging our visit was on a Saturday night and the area was busy. We were able to get right into Nonnas without a reservation or a wait.

Menu is limited and that’s ok but nothing was exceptional. Chicken parm was bland, chicken was minimally prepared (not really pounded flat or uniform). It was like boneless chicken breasts from supermarket with some breading. Sauce was bland lacking seasoning. Caesar salad romaine was fresh...

We went on a Monday night, no wait to sit. The plates were a bit pricey but the portion huge, definitely shareable. Kids plate was also abundant. Service was quick, the menu was very limited. But it also said Holiday Menu so I’m not sure if this is only a during the week thing. Overall, the food was very tasty but a bit expensive.
