Visiting from out of town and was excited for this place since it’s so highly reviewed—walked over a mile to get here to see it is closed. In the 5 mins I was waiting outside looking up another place, many other patrons tried to come in and were left disappointed and confused. At least have the courtesy to update the website/info.

Delicious and highly recommend! We’re from out of town and decided to stop here on our way back to Tennessee. There was a bit of a wait (we were given a 30min wait but probably waited only 15), definitely worth the wait! The food was incredible. The biscuits and peach butter they give you were amazing. I got the 2 chicken biscuits which were a large portion! You do have to pay extra for sides (eggs, home fries) but it was worth it. My boyfriend got the hash and that was great too. If you’re in the area, stop here!
I must preface this review with the fact that during the last 4 years of my academic career I have developed a considerable dependence on caffeine (I promise this is relevant). Despite the fact that I need coffee on a daily basis to function, I can confidently say that I would choose a container of this establishment's peach butter over a cup of coffee every single day. I don't even care about how shaky my hands will get, I would wearily lift each spoon of peach butter to my mouth with joy. In conjunction with a biscuit? Even better. The only downside to trying the peach butter is knowing that nothing in my day-to-day life will allow me to feel the same amount of happiness as this butter did, so I will drift aimlessly through mundane tasks with a sense of longing until I once again make the trip to St. Augustine to eat this butter again.

Never did I think I would find myself eating straight up butter by itself, yet here I am. The peach butter is the BEST thing I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The biscuits and home fries were excellent as well.
Just had the most AMAZING breakfast at Blue Hen Café in St. Augustine! The biscuits were fluffy and buttery, the grits creamy and flavorful, eggs cooked just right, bacon perfect, and the house fries? Pure comfort on a plate. It’s not just the food that’s awesome; the vibe here is so cozy and welcoming. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by. Trust me, it’s a meal you won’t forget!

I had a good breakfast. They are attentive. Fast with the coffee refills and they cleared my dishes. I was first in the door and everyone was kind and they seem to be having fun. These folks deserve your business.

Kind of a throwback diner vibe which I really enjoy. Located in what I guess is a historic residential area that has its charms but navigating the streets and parking in the small lot requires your attention. TBH, I don't remember what the others at my table had, but everyone was pleased. My eggs, sausage, cheesy grits and home fries were quite good.
