Loved the experience! The food was really good, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The staff was very respectful and nice! Definitely recommend the Commander's Shellfish!!
Service average at best. They are already pricey, and are pretty bush league. Was surprised there was no charge for the lemons in our water on the bill. Crab chowder was nothing special. Blackend gator tail pretty good. Admirals boil good, but pricey. Inattentiveness of service made the cost of the meal not worth it.
We had a wonderful experience dining at Commander’s in St. Augustine. The atmosphere is charming and laid-back, perfect for a coastal meal, and the food especially the hush puppies and shrimp 🍤 is absolutely delicious. The flavors are on point, and it’s clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Our server was kind, attentive, and really hustled to make sure we were taken care of.
