I dont like to give negative reviews but I think this is necessary. This was the worst empanada I’ve ever had. Dry and flavorless and $9.95 it’s an absurd. I got the rice and beans side, also terrible and super small. The key lime pie slice was very small and also no flavor other than sweet. Everything is over priced and not worth it. I hope the owners will review and change their recipe for the dough because this is not an empada.

A Lil out of the way but their Cuban sandwich is great and I would kill someone if they got between me and the broccoli slaw

Rarely do I provide reviews, but this was, without a doubt, one of the worst empanadas I've ever had. The food lacked flavor, the chicken was dry, and visually, it was unappealing. Surprisingly, the sides were better than the main dish itself. Had I paid more attention to the one-star reviews, I wouldn't have spent nearly $40 on this disappointment. Not worth it. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Worst empanada I’ve ever eaten in my life! Had a chicken one and it had absolutely no flavor, also a terrible price, I basically threw my $$ in the trash. The side I had was bean salad and that was decent. I won’t return.

We went there for a cherry turnover ended up with that some rolls and a $9.95 empanada. The rolls were good, turnover soso, the empanada…awful. It was thick dough surrounding a filling that had absolutely no flavor. A real disappointment at that price!! Would not go back.

The food was mediocre, but my chief complaint is the worker, who was very short with us from the start and then audibly mocked and swore at my wife and 2yr old daughter.

I wish I could give the food a negative star because it is truly some of the worst food I have ever tasted. I have had a better Cuban sandwich from a vending machine. Absolutely no flavor and it is served cold after being made in the morning. The rice and beans also have no flavor so at least they are consistent. The best tasting item on the menu was the Coca Cola I bought. If you have any tastebuds go somewhere else. To finish it is also absurdly priced, 13 dollars for a Cuban sandwich. Not a good experience at all.

We ordered a maple danish and a fudge brownie. The brownie was truly horrible. It was super over baked (like hard as a rock around the edges), and very plain tasting. The danish had absolutely no flavor. Possibly their non bakery items are very good?? I would have gone and returned these bakery items, but the line was long and I didn't feel like waiting with only one girl working behind the counter. These items are also too expensive!

We had three flavors of empanada. They were good. Overall everything was good but nothing spectacular. Had some key lime pie as well. It was pretty good. Had some Piccadilly soup also.

Do NOT get the chicken empanadas. The filling looked seasoned, but tastes so bland and not even salted. Very overpriced at $10 for an empanada with a small side. But the guava cream cheese turnover is delicious.

The food was not very good. I can tell a lot of herbs and spices were used, but salt was definitely not, rendering the empanadas flavorless. The dough was not flavorful either and it was very thick. It had a nice consistency though. The rice and beans also had the same issue. I wanted to like it but I just didn’t. I did not complete my meal. I would not return.

The Spanish Bakery has been around for as long as I can remember. They always had good empanadas, bread, picadillo, and cookies. I tried the chicken empanadas for the first time and was surprised at how thick the dough was and how flavorless the filling was. The picadillo was ordered by my daughter and husband. They too agreed it was not as good as it used to be and my daughter would not even finish hers. The bread roll and chocolate chip cookies got good reviews. After spending $36 on food, it is so disappointing that the food was not great and not like it used to be. Staff was great though but the food needs to be better for repeat visits.

There is a visible sign that says: Winner Award…. Oh, my… there is nothing from that. The empanadas dough were old as the town and the filler… indescribable: rice, beans, spinach… Well, why not to try it, right? Don’t do it. Cuban sandwich, other inexplicable thing. No, no, no…My question: winner of what?We came starving and we left starving…We didn’t eat for $25.-
