“We had a wonderful experience at Michael's. We thought that the cocktail menu was very innovative and enjoyed our choices. We ordered the crab and skillet shrimp and although both very good, the shrimp surpassed expectations. Highly recommend the dish. My husband had an excellent and creative fish special and I ordered the swordfish, which was somewhat disappointing because the edges had the odd, fishy taste that sometimes comes when a fish has been sitting on ice and gets watered down (hard to describe). My preparation was fine and the fish was better towards the middle of the cut We appreciated our seating arrangement that was requested due to an illness. It made our night so much more relaxing. Our evening was perfect and that is what will make our anniversary memorable. The only suggestion I have is to slow the timing down a bit. We did feel rushed and even tried to control the pace a bit by not ordering our entrees right away. Our appetizers came quickly which was great but our meals should have been put in a bit later. Don’t miss out on their amazing selection of other products that make awesome gifts. Unfortunately I don’t live close by anymore but I try and visit the winery every three or 4 years to stock up on my favorites. Highly recommend their Port which is out of this world.“
