Good quality bread, boats head meat (a a lot of it).

I don't ever leave food reviews.
However, I found (this hidden gem) deli last week. I have a massage studio right up the street for the past year, and had no idea they were here! Everything I have ordered so far has been Delicious and huge portions!
Highly recommend!!

Over priced and over rated. Owner also came at me all over social media like a psycho after I left my review. Customers BEWARE.

Wasn't too impressed, I got the Godfather Italian beef and peppers. The sandwich did not come out looking anything like the posted picture. The amount of meat was sparse and it was missing the cherry tomatoes as listed in the photo. Im not one to write many reviews but I'm sitting here still hungry after that sandwich. For $16 I just expect more than that.

First time visiting. Kind of a hole in the wall sub place. BUT I found the chesse steak subs incredible. I especially liked the presentation the the cheese sits on top. One size and was impossible to eat the whole sub so I brought the other halve home and with a little oven heat up my wife agreed was one of the best. I'll be back.

I can’t even tell you how insane this French dip sandwich is, I tried it on a Friday and have been here Monday and Tuesday as well. It is just so soft and melts in your mouth, I cannot describe with words how incredible this place is. Coming from New York this place reminds me of home. The owner is super nice and super happy. Everything from the pickles on the side to the au jus is incredible. This is the best sandwich shop I’ve found in St.Pete hands down.

Love this place It was my top, choice for lunch. Try the onion soup and literally is like so delicious you'll want to drink it from the cup but there's too much cheese, to successfully pull that off with which is the other part that makes the dish so delicious. Absolutely 100% traditional onion soup just to die for delicious

The people who work here are super nice, they check on you frequently and make sure you don’t need anything. The sandwich was delicious. I got the French dip and it’s simple, but quality ingredients make the difference. It was as good as it looks in the photo. Will be back!

4th Street Sandwich Shop is an absolute gem! We ordered the Reuben and the fish spread sandwiches, and both were amazing. The Reuben was everything you’d want: perfectly toasted, packed with tender corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and just the right amount of dressing. The fish spread was a pleasant surprise, so fresh and flavorful — you could tell it was made with quality ingredients and attention to detail.

Beyond the food, the staff here are fantastic! Everyone was so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in their food. We’ll definitely be back for more of their delicious sandwiches and friendly service. Highly recommend!

The sandwiches are alright, but this place is very expensive. We get it, you use Boar's Head. But the cost isn't worth it when you're spending almost $40 for two subs with a tip. Chips and drinks will put you over $50... these are deli sandwiches and you can dine out for that price.

You can get Boar's Head sub at Publix for < $11. What's the difference if it's just the meat and cheese that make the quality? This 'lol' is for the inevitable snarky response from the owner.
