ABC is now at the old Lucky Star's location. They open late which is great for family that works the later hours. We stopped by on our vacation and we enjoyed everything. My favorite is the seafood tofu dry pot. It's very cantonese like. All the dishes are flavorful and don't need any extra soy sauce. Beef chow fun has that smokey wok flavor that we all love. The sizzling beef is also unique and we haven't had anything like it before, definitely a must try. And the fried rice is very good because they do not stick together that's how you differentiate good and bad fried rice. The service is also really good. I enjoyed this family style dinner and glad we were able to find one while traveling.

Per picture of outside with grand opening sign posted by Du D. on Dec 12, 2023, they have moved from their long time location on 54th Ave N. Have not been to this new location but was the best Chinese food in town before? Many of the posted pictures are of the old location.

Restaurant has soft light and relaxing seating allow chatting easily. Service staff are friendly and efficient. Meat, veggies, noodles dishes all had nice presentation with balanced flavors. However we had ordered three clay pot dish: Beef, chicken, seafood. It seems all had same type of sauce and flavor. Maybe Chief can be more creative base on the protein and less sauces. Or, maybe service staff can bring up the attention of guests who are sharing the dishes. Overall It's an pleasant dinner.

Went last night. Amazing we are so lucky to have this here. This restaurant is on the same esteemed level as Beijing House in Tampa and Blackbrick. This is the type of spot that should be on the food network and def would be bourdain approved. The ambience is no frills and service is excellent. The perfect recipe for a truely good Chinese restaurant . You can also access more authentic Chinese dishes and this is not a gross take out spot dishing out overcooked general Tso chicken. We had the lobster in black bean sauce. It was divine and fresh. Like top spots in nyc. Also had the house special fried rice super good, wonton soup best I have had in Florida and green beans which I didn't see on menu but they had readily available. Thank god I don't have to drive to Tampa to get great Chinese.

Gosh what happened? Haven't been in a bit, but our takeout order was far short of our usual love of the food! Maybe the head chef was out? Our favorite Salt and Pepper tofu -was beyond bad?! And the other three dishes very so so. Please please fix and get back to being the best!

The cold jellyfish and beef shank starter was perfect on a hot August day, though I think my super white and American boomer parents greatly preferred the coconut balls - think piping-hot, super crunchy deep-fried coconut custard. A little bit of powdered sugar on top and they would sell out of these at state fairs. For entrees we went with the beef stew, sizzling beef in honey pepper sauce, and a chicken and mushroom claypot. All was delicious, though the beef stew is made with chewy, gooey tendons, and might not be what you'd expect. I loved it though. The dishes all come with just enough white rice though I was kindly offered more when I finished mine.We stopped in right when they opened on a Saturday, and our servers were super sweet and attentive. What a wonderful spot! Can't wait to try them for take-out next time.Update: They switched locations to 66th St. Still great food. I burnt my mouth on the coconut balls because I couldn't wait to eat them! :3

Visited with a large group and were well taken care of. There is a lazy Suzanne in the middle of the table and we all kept spinning it and sampling everyone's meals! Everything I tasted was excellent! Highly recommend.
